Vernon Aviation LLC, we are a Part 135 charter company with a fleet of turbo prop and jet aircraft. We are rapidly growing and acquiring more aircraft and have an immediate opening for a Charter Sales position. We are looking for someone highly motivated and who is a team player capable of providing first class customer service and care.
Responsibilities/Duties: Demonstrate experience and competency in managing and building wholesale and retail charter accounts. Provide prompt and accurate price quoting to customers and follow-up on quotes to make sales/impressions for future sales. Learn and understand our individual aircraft specs (PC-12, Lear 31), dimensions, and performance capabilities. Be comfortable with high call/email volume and produce quotes in an expedited fashion through our quoting system Avinode. Update and maintain an accurate customer preference database. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and industry personnel to promote and generate new business leads. Possess a drive and creative marketing initiative to promote various transient availability, empty legs, one-ways, etc. Maintain currency on company and competitor product offerings such as: aircraft, regional charter pricing, and travel trends. Keep a consistent performance of sales objectives each month by meeting required sales quotas. Collaborate with team members within the Operations and Flight Departments to ensure cohesive teamwork. Generate new business leads by developing relationships with brokers and maintaining prospect lists. Follow up with our clients post trip to ensure satisfaction in a professional and timely manner.
Education/Background: A degree ideally in business, aviation, business development, or sales related fields is preferred but not required. 3-5 years of similar industry sales experience is preferred. Ideally have Part 135 experience. Experience with Avinode preferred.
Scheduling/Compensation: This is a full-time, permanent position with a lot of room for growth and advancement. Vernon Aviation LLC is a 24/7, 365 operation: Your schedule primarily will be M-F, however the charter game has no days off so expect occasional nights, weekends, and holidays to be working (remotely in those cases). Compensation will include your base salary plus a competitive commission and bonus structure! Health/Dental/Vision benefits with company contributions to selected plan.
