Don't Use This Code (DUTC) is looking for a committed, goal-driven technical sales and account manager to help with the growth of our business.
Since 2016, DUTC has provided consulting and training services to a wide variety of clients. These services have focused on open source computing technologies, predominantly involving the PyData stack for scientific and numeric computing. DUTC's training is unique among the many educational offerings available on the market in its concepts-first approach to material.
The sales and account manager will drive and inform our strategy across all stages of our sales funnel, including creating awareness of new offerings, generating and pursuing leads, conducting market research, creating materials used for sales and promotion, managing outreach campaigns and more.
The ideal candidate has experience in professional education or professional training-related services, is up to date on trends in technical training and is energetic and highly creative when it comes to attracting new business.
Note: This is a fully remote, contract-to-hire position open to candidates anywhere in the USA. We operate during standard business hours EST.
Responsibilities:
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets 
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
  • Drive existing sales campaigns, develop new strategies and outreach
  • Meet with potential clients to determine their needs and recommend our services to match
  • Develop client relationships; retain and grow existing accounts
  • Attend and participate in regular team meetings
  • Develop and drive marketing and promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
  • Prepare promotional presentations, maintain sales records
  • Analyze sales outcomes to identify opportunities for growth or development
  • Positively advocate for the business


Mandatory Qualifications:

  • English fluency, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Position Requirements:
BS/BA or MS/MA with 5 plus years of previous experience (selling service vs. product preferred)
Proven sales experience selling large, national account, multi-location business (Greater than $50K/monthly revenue targets) strongly preferred
State of the art knowledge of technologies, processes, and practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, database and web-based applications
Creative and innovative thinking in bringing successful resolutions to high-impact, and complex problems.

Don't Use This Code (DUTC) is looking for a committed, goal-driven technical sales and account manager to help with the growth of our business.

Since 2016, DUTC has provided consulting and training services to a wide variety of clients. These services have focused on open source computing technologies, predominantly involving the PyData stack for scientific and numeric computing. DUTC's training is unique among the many educational offerings available on the market in its concepts-first approach to material.

The sales and account manager will drive and inform our strategy across all stages of our sales funnel, including creating awareness of new offerings, generating and pursuing leads, conducting market research, creating materials used for sales and promotion, managing outreach campaigns and more. 

The ideal candidate has experience in professional education or professional training-related services, is up to date on trends in technical training and is energetic and highly creative when it comes to attracting new business.

Note: This is a fully remote, contract-to-hire position open to candidates anywhere in the USA. We operate during standard business hours EST. 


Responsibilities:
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets 
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
  • Drive existing sales campaigns, develop new strategies and outreach
  • Meet with potential clients to determine their needs and recommend our services to match
  • Develop client relationships; retain and grow existing accounts
  • Attend and participate in regular team meetings
  • Develop and drive marketing and promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
