Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the job holder will be a Management Accountant within the finance team, taking primary responsibility for several entities within the business. This will involve typical monthly activities, such as preparing relevant journal entries, ensuring management accounts are prepared on a timely basis, ensuring intercompany invoicing is up to date and that prepayment and accruals are recorded correctly. In addition to this the jobholder will be expected to business partner with relevant parts of the business and will be a key liaison between the finance department and operational teams. Also, the individual will be the main contact in the finance department for our complex municipal waste agreements, ensuring that the accounting for these is recorded correctly each month, and invoicing is up to date and has been calculated in line with the underlying contracts.
