We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to be based at the Moorside Unit, Trafford, a Mental Health Inpatient Unit. This post is for 15 hours per week over 2 days Thursday and Friday. The postholder will need to possess excellent organisational skills. You will be expected to work as part of a small team of administrators.
Good communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with staff at all levels, as well as members of the public and external organisations. You will need to be confident to deal with a variety of challenges.
The role is to be the point of contact for enquiries relating to Subject Access Requests from service users and also external agencies and to provide an efficient service to the South Manchester Service in relation to Subject Access Requests which will include being responsible for actioning subject access/access to health records requests and include third partying of patients records in line with Trust Policy, ensuring that there is no breach in confidentiality.
Ideally the candidate should have experience of Subject Access Requests and experience working with confidential material.
