An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an Administration Assistant based at Thurrock Hospital with the Appointments Team. This is a full time position working Monday-Friday on a 6 moth fixed contract.

We are looking for experienced candidates with an excellent level of administration, interpersonal and organisational skills. You will also need to be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be given full training on the various systems that we use.

We are looking for someone with a positive and compassionate approach to supporting patient care. The role will include telephone calls from clients and due to the nature of the services we carry out administrative support for these can sometimes be distressing.
Successful candidates will be expected to work in the organisation, providing services in a professional, efficient, friendly and polite manner.

About the Role

The successful candidate for this role will carry out the following duties: -

  • Answer incoming phone calls;
  • Book and allocate audits and training sessions for our consultants;
  • Upload contacts on to our systems;
  • Send welcome emails to new clients;
  • Monitor that processes are being followed;
  • Ensure that clients are receiving a high standard of service;
  • Creating users on our compliance dashboard and helping clients who have forgotten their passwords.

Requirements

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of the Data Protection team and will need to be:
