About the role
As an Application Engineer, you’ll be combining a unique mix of sales, process, engineering, and project management. You’ll be acting as a technical expert working on specific markets, focusing on mixing process and design to support all product ranges,
You’ll do this by providing application and quotation support to our sales representatives. You’ll review the customer specifications. Based on their requirements, you’ll be able to define a mixer process solution that suits the customer’s needs,
This initially will be primarily office base with a view to it progressing out onto the road as and when the expertise are learnt,
Key Resposibilities;
Assisting in the mechanical design aspects of equioment,
Developing pricing strategies with regional sales management,
Providing direct technical support of applications with customers in support of sales,
Assisting the sales process with training and technical application support offsite,
Develop technical materials and presentations in support of projects and markets,
Maintaining quotation logs, schedules, and performance measures,
Developing and maintaining product knowledge,
Engaging with existing clients daily and networking
Due to the nature of the role, there are opportunities to travel across the UK to our customers’ sites, so you can expect to travel between 15-20% of your time.
Requirements
This is a challenging role where you’ll undertake a considerable amount of training for the first 12 months. The role
As an Applications Module Lead, you’ll deliver the design, configuration, testing and launch of a specific Hive module. It’s a wide-ranging, key strategic role that draws on project management skills, technical expertise, stakeholder management and clinical knowledge. As you coordinate and lead on your module’s work, you’ll report to a Workstream Lead and collaborate with other analysts to make sure we’re implementing our software consistently and effectively.
You’ll also be an ambassador for the Hive project and a key driver of our digital strategy. It’s a chance to take on considerable responsibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute towards guidance and standards across the Hive programme as a whole. As part of your EPR training, you’ll also receive recognised qualifications in an application module.
Required skills and experience
We’re looking for candidates with clinical or operational experience in the NHS. You’ll be a talented communicator an exceptional project manager who can confidently oversee complex initiatives and make complicated issues easy to understand.
You should also have experience in analysing business and technical requirements or even training in Epic software. Strong leadership skills, IT literacy and a keen sense of strategy are also essential.
You’ll also need a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. A relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred, but not essential.
