Requirements

This is a challenging role where you’ll undertake a considerable amount of training for the first 12 months. We’re looking for positive, enthusiastic people who are self-reliant and motivated to set their own goals and are driven to achieve them and grow beyond. The role

As an Applications Module Lead, you’ll deliver the design, configuration, testing and launch of a specific Hive module. As you coordinate and lead on your module’s work, you’ll report to a Workstream Lead and collaborate with other analysts to make sure we’re implementing our software consistently and effectively.

You’ll also be an ambassador for the Hive project and a key driver of our digital strategy. It’s a chance to take on considerable responsibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute towards guidance and standards across the Hive programme as a whole. As part of your EPR training, you’ll also receive recognised qualifications in an application module.

Required skills and experience

We’re looking for candidates with clinical or operational experience in the NHS. You’ll be a talented communicator an exceptional project manager who can confidently oversee complex initiatives and make complicated issues easy to understand.

You should also have experience in analysing business and technical requirements or even training in Epic software. Strong leadership skills, IT literacy and a keen sense of strategy are also essential.

You’ll also need a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. A relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred, but not essential.

Function Overview

The IT Department is responsible for providing technology and support to enable fee earners and business services employees to operate efficiently both internally and with their clients. The IT department is comprised of two functions, Customer Services and Technology Services. These two functions work closely together with the shared goal of delivering strategic business value through the application of technology. IT operates as a global team with regional presence in most of our offices. Our centralised IT infrastructure is maintained and managed by Technology Services and Customer Services provides all business facing support and services.

Role summary/purpose of job

We provide support for the iManage Document Management System and numerous plug ins, some of which are in house developed. The primary duty of the role is to manage and deal with issues raised directly by clients in a timely and professional manner. There is an expectation that the Support Engineer will work on implementation tasks for projects when required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • To provide technical product knowledge and support on the iManage Document Management System and other applications.
  • Be able to communicate with knowledge and confidence to users about our applications.
  • Follow troubleshooting methodologies, providing feedback to internal resources where necessary.
  • To work closely with the management of the business to ensure swift escalation of client issues where appropriate.
  • Research and identify solutions to client technical problems.
  • Perform and complete system health reports.
  • Work with the project team on implementation tasks.

Duties & Accountabilities

  • Report to and take direction from the DevOps Team Leader.
  • Ensure the service now queue is managed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Respond to issues raised from users promptly.
  • Display initiative in your role.
  • Provide technical training to the other members of the team on key application areas.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Occasionally weekend or after-hours work may be required.
  • Respond to high priority calls out of hours if required whilst on call.

Technical Experience

To be considered for this role experience of supporting iManage will be required.

Ideally, you will be an iManage Certified Systems Engineer (WSCE or ATP or ASE) or at least capable of being certified in a short period of time.

The Shared Services team develops security critical services for teams across Sage which are used in our products worldwide. The Senior Security Services Developer joining this growing team will be responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining these services.
The Senior Software Engineer will assume ownership in the design, develop and delivery of highly securesystems and services that exceed customers’ or business partners’ expectations and will proactively share their own knowledge for specific technical solutions and business processes in their area of responsibility. Our dynamic business partner are looking to add to their team of Sales/Application Engineers.  They have a winning reputation of providing mixing process machinery to their blue chip customers.   For well over 25 years this company has established its reputation of supplying high quality process equipment into the likes of Warburtons, Nestle and Tangerine.

About the role

As an Application Engineer, you’ll be combining a unique mix of sales, process, engineering, and project management. You’ll be acting as a technical expert working on specific markets, focusing on mixing process and design to support all product ranges,

You’ll do this by providing application and quotation support to our sales representatives. You’ll review the customer specifications. Based on their requirements, you’ll be able to define a mixer process solution that suits the customer’s needs,

This initially will be primarily office base with a view to it progressing out onto the road as and when the expertise are learnt,

Key Resposibilities;

  • Assisting in the mechanical design aspects of equioment,

  • Developing pricing strategies with regional sales management,

  • Providing direct technical support of applications with customers in support of sales,

  • Assisting the sales process with training and technical application support offsite,

  • Develop technical materials and presentations in support of projects and markets,

  • Maintaining quotation logs, schedules, and performance measures,

  • Developing and maintaining product knowledge,

  • Engaging with existing clients daily and networking

Due to the nature of the role, there are opportunities to travel across the UK to our customers’ sites, so you can expect to travel between 15-20% of your time.

Requirements

This is a challenging role where you’ll undertake a considerable amount of training for the first 12 months. We’re looking for positive, enthusiastic people who are self-reliant and motivated to set their own goals and are driven to achieve them and grow beyond.
