The successful Curtain Wall CAD Designer will join our well-established and growing company who specialise in design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of bespoke architectural glazing systems and curtain wall solutions for commercial buildings. Our aim is to ensure that buildings achieve or exceed their design life.
Role Requirements
A methodical approach and attention to detail are essential for this important role in our growing business. Our ideal candidate must be proficient in Autocad & Inventor, additional aptitude in Solid Works and 3D draughting software would be ideal but not essential. You must have worked in a similar role previously and ideally live locally.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
•You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to programmes and deadlines, be flexible to change and have a keen eye for quality
•You will work closely as part of the team to deliver packages on time. You will be working on projects up to the value of £5 million and it will be your responsibility to ensure the designs are delivered successfully
•You will be responsible for the preparation of drawings, details, sketches, RFI’s, technical submittals and design related documentation, in many cases making use of client’s online project management portals online
•You will attend sites for surveys and design meetings with architects, clients and suppliers.
