DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an Architectural Designer/Drafter with strong Revit production abilities to join our in-house architecture team. The ideal candidates will have 2+ years of architectural construction drawing experience & knowledge in all phases of project execution including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Drawings and Construction Administration.
Many of the projects our architecture department undertakes Historic Mill conversions. The preferred candidate will have experience with mixed-use, multi-family, historic preservation, adaptive reuse, and high-rise buildings. Candidates with architecture degree and strong construction drawing background are preferred.
Ability to work in a small architecture environment where being involved in a project from inception through completion is the norm. Ability to work closely with the Lead Architect as well as the Development and Construction Management sides of the firm is important.

An exciting opportunity for a CAD Administrator to apply their skills and experience supporting our Mechanical Engineering Team in the delivery of diverse development projects across several US locations including various soldier, targeting, airborne, ground combat and homeland security systems. Ongoing projects include weapons sights, handheld-targeting systems, armored vehicle/turret development and integration, helmet-mounted display systems for ground troops and pilots, missile warning systems, etc.
Successful candidates will be working with and supporting the Mechanical Design Team for several ongoing programs, initiatives, and projects. Responsibilities include utilizing SolidWorks CAD skills to model complex 3-D geometry in the design of opto-mechanical and electro-mechanical components to support the implementation of new products and product changes targeted to improve quality and reduce manufacturing costs as directed by the Supervisor. Also requires interfacing and communicating with other functional areas of the business as needed such as configuration management and IT. Manages EPDM, libraries, templates, and processes and communicates status to Supervisor and others. Works with Project Teams, offers design solutions and solves problems. The successful candidate is expected to present knowledge of and a solid track record in the following essential areas:
