Your mission
In this role, your mission will be to provide highly competitive CAD/EDA solutions for very diverse and innovative ultra-low-power CMOS IC/ASIC designs.
Your main tasks will be the following:
- EDA tools (Digital Front-End & Back-End, Analog/RF, Mixed-Signal): evaluation, installation, customization, update, support & technology watch.
- Entire design environment: tools, PDKs, external IP, internal IP and libraries
- Project setup and design database management
- Support of tools' remote access and partner walk-in infrastructure
- Linux IT support for our workstations
- Gitlab management
- Documentation of procedures and processes
- Backup for CAD Manager

Your profile :
To be successful in this function, you are expected to have a Bachelor/Master degree and at least 3 to 5 years of CAD related experience within a Digital Front-End and Back-End or Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design environment.
Required skills and experience :
- A solid understanding of the full design flow from schematic to tape-out.
- EDA Digital, Analog/RF & Mixed-Signal tools such as Cadence & Mentor Good digital IC working knowledge of RTL to GDSII design flows (Cadence based)
- Mixed-Signal Circuit Design validation
- SKILL programming and scripting languages Perl/TCL/csh/bash/Python/etc)
- Definition of the design database structure & administration of revision control systems (SVN, GIT, Cadence version control tools, etc.)
- PDK installation and maintenance
- Integration and control of external IP into design database
- Good knowledge of Linux
Curious, autonomous and hands-on, you are motivated in playing a key role in the development of innovative solutions and demonstrate the ability to multi-task, work in a structured and organized way, and adapt to new situations. Structural Revit Technician required by a Structural & Civil Design Consultancy in North London.
The company works on a variety of buildings design projects and have seen a huge increase in workload in recent months. You will be working on structural design, using Revit and AutoCAD. Experience in drainage design using Civil 3D would also be a benefit.
