Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in researching, justifying, defining and delivering solutions. This role requires knowledge of telematics solutions, software portals, mobile applications and analytics to support carriers, shippers and receivers in the transportation vertical. The role requires complex analysis for market trends, addressable market and forecasting, business requirements, technical designs, business cases and strategic information sharing including competitive trends and other market intelligence. This role requires cooperation and influence across various key business units including Engineering, Program Management, Support, Operations, Sales and Marketing.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Product Manager for Logistics solutions that cover all aspects of class 7 8 vehicles from bumper to bumper, including in-cab, tractor, smart trailer, and reefer technologies. Duties include the creation of Market Requirements Documents (MRDs), Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), Business Cases, Pricing Strategies, Competitor Analyses, User Personas and Segmentation, and M&A analysis.
  • Act as the corporate-wide subject matter expert for trailer, container, chassis and freight tracking solutions for truck-load carriers, private fleets, leasing companies, freight transportation providers and shippers. Stay abreast of all industry trends including regulatory requirements.
  • Gather input from customers, sales, implementation, support, and engineering teams regarding product requirements.
    • Define requirements and prioritize bugs/fixes, features, New Product Introduction (NPI), 3rd party integrations, as well as analytics and AI offerings.
    • Gather input from technical teams during the requirements phase to align market needs with technology capabilities and trends in order to create future-proof solutions.
    • Manage Agile sprint planning and grooming sessions for all identified epics, features and tasks.
  • Translate complex business requirements, regulatory rules, and other customer/market features into technical requirements. Work with device, software and analytics engineering teams to ensure requirements are comprehensive, business use cases are addressed and ease of use is incorporated into the final design.
  • Lead certification efforts for Logistics products with all relevant external 3rd parties.
  • Work with QA and system test engineering teams to ensure test coverage for all areas related to Logistics solutions (hardware, firmware, and software).
  • Author, update and approve solution documentation including release notes, user manuals, device and installation guides as well as software online help functions
  • Serve as a liaison to assist Sales, Sales Engineering, Professional Services and Support teams in understanding, selling, and supporting all Logistics solutions including business applications, technical solutions and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the areas of Logistics solutions to support industry trade shows, analyst interviews, RFPs, marketing materials and campaigns, demonstrations, etc.
  • Work with Program Management to address all phases of the product lifecycle including development, alpha, beta and product launch.
  • Prepare reports for the monthly/quarterly business reviews for executive stakeholders. Focus on progress, adoption, profitability, and quality targets, as examples.
  • Develop and maintain the Logistics solutions roadmap that encompasses devices (hardware and firmware), software, analytics, AI, and machine learning. Ensure connection to other product lines which support our supply chain end to end vision.
  • Develop strategic plan for further penetration into existing markets as well as new geographies and adjacencies.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • Minimum of 7+ years-experience in Product Management or similar role, preferably in a software, logistics or IoT device design business environment
  • Strong financial acumen to develop business cases, perform market analyses, and present financial data
  • Proven experience with VOC discovery, MRDs, PRDs, and agile development methodologies
  • Understanding of communication technologies (cellular, satellite, BLE, Wi-Fi)
  • Technically oriented, possessing an aptitude for rapidly learning complex software applications and device mechanical design
  • A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills who is eager to learn and create

The Lead Product Manager Conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for Chinese and Korean MA customer use. The Lead Product Manager works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The Retail Product & Strategy team focuses on strategically improving sales and customer experience to grow key Medicare customer segments. This small, high-performance team is comprised of strategy, segment product management, customer experience, and business intelligence leaders. The Lead Product Manager leads all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes. Once products are launched, monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. Interacts with teams across the organization ranging from Marketing, Sales, Service, Clinical and Bold Goals team focused on social determinants of health. Interfaces with local community teams to advance strategy. Advises leaders to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 5-8 years of work experience, with track record of bringing new products/services to market, ideally in the healthcare space.
+ Experience in data analytics
+ Strong project management and critical thinking skills.
+ Bi-lingual - Mastery of Mandarin/English or Korean/English ​
