Association Member Benefits Advisors (AMBA) is hiring a full-time Insurance Benefits Advisor to join our team in Alabama. Are you ready to think outside the cubicle and work for a company that provides you with the right tools to help you succeed? Have you been interested in working in the insurance and benefits industry and want to join a rapidly growing company where there is room for advancement and comprehensive training? Do you want power over your income potential?

COVID 19- NOTE: During these challenging times, AMBA continues to serve our clients and they know they have the support of their Association and AMBA. Together, our advisors and Association partners are helping our seniors stay informed, provide camaraderie even if just online for now, and ensuring sure they have access to the benefits they need now more than ever. Temporarily our appointments and held virtually and over the phone.

ABOUT ASSOCIATION MEMBER BENEFITS ADVISORS (AMBA)?

Our story began in 1981 when a teachers' association was searching for a Medicare supplement policy and turned to David Morgan, our founder. That's when we discovered our mission: to restore benefits lost by dedicated, hard-working education and public employees during retirement. AMBA is a National Marketing and Insurance Agency that provides much-needed coverage to retired and active educators, police, fire fighters and other state, city, and municipal workers nationwide. Our agents help some of our most selfless servants secure the retirement they deserve. We are endorsed by over 65 state association clients across 39 states and in Alabama, we are exclusively endorsed by the Alabama Education Retirees Association and the Alabama Retired School Employees' Association.

WE BELIEVE:

  • Family comes first. Though we've grown nationally, AMBA was founded as a family business and continues to put family first. A typical work week is Mondays-Fridays with daytime selling hours. Unlike other sales jobs, you can have plenty of time with your family and friends!
  • We believe in what we do. Working with heroes is the most rewarding career. Educators, firefighters, and state employees deserve a secure financial future. This principle drives everything we do.
  • "A deal is a deal. A promise is a promise." These are words we live by every day. We offer only quality benefits to keep our Association partners strong and ready for the future.

WHAT TO EXPECT AS AN INSURANCE BENEFITS ADVISOR

As an Insurance Benefits Advisor, you meet with active or retired public employees and facilitate client relationships which are the lifeblood of our company. Utilizing our proven sales system, in-depth product knowledge and your interpersonal skills, you sell needs-based products by building a rapport with public employees as you help them choose benefits to secure their financial future.

Our exclusive endorsements provide you with qualified leads at no-cost and you spend 80% of your time where your passion is - being out in the field meeting face to face with prospective clients, conducting in-school workshops, presenting informational seminars, and educating members at local association chapter meetings and conferences. As you help hard-working people retire, you'll help yourself do the same through your income potential and residuals. You will work for a company that takes care of both you as an agent and your clients! You'll engage in our comprehensive ongoing training which sets you up for continual success as an advisor.

WANT TO JOIN OUR TEAM?

Qualifications:

Association Member Benefits Advisors

Our story began in 1981 when an association was searching for a Medicare supplement policy and turned to David Morgan. His research on this subject sparked an interest and he began building a company that addressed the supplemental insurance needs of retired teachers. United Teacher Associates (UTA) was founded in 1981 to meet this need. In 1984, UTA acquired the American Consumers Life Insurance Company, founded in 1958, and renamed it United Teacher Associates Insurance Company (UTAIC). This enabled UTA to sell and service its own policies through UTAIC. In 1999, UTAIC & UTA were acquired by Great American Life Insurance Company. In 2001, David and Jerry Morgan founded Association Member Benefits Advisors to make benefits available for all other association clients in the United States. We have worked hand-in-hand with our clients since 2001 to create unique solutions for the benefit needs of their members. In order for AMBA to rise to the level of service we wanted to achieve, we needed to find the right partner to get us there. Our search led us to Genstar Capital. Genstar saw the potential that AMBA has and is assisting us in growing to improve and expand products and services for our clients. In 2017, Genstar invested in AMBA so that we, and our clients, can rise to a new level of success. David knows AMBA is in good hands due to Genstar’s continued track record of success. He was able to retire and take a break from the hard work he started in 1981 that became AMBA. Our success would never have happened had it not been for his company vision and dedication to the educator market.
