We are looking for a Nordic Benefits Specialist to join our Nordic Finance team. In your position as a Nordic Benefits Specialist you will have a strategic role where you provide expertise, guidance, and direction to the implementation of different benefit initiatives within the Nordics. You will also have the responsibility of ensuring that BCG’s benefit package is compliant and competitive.


Your role at BCG will be crucial, designing benefit packages to attract top talent and retaining valued employees. You take great joy and feel comfortable in engaging with new contacts; interacting with internal and external stakeholders, insurance brokers, HR and other contact areas which are of necessity to drive change. You will also ensure that costs associated with the different benefit packages are in line with our values, objectives and culture.

The role has two dimensions: focus on Nordic employee benefits plans and HR related benefits including wellbeing and effective communication.

Focus on Nordic employee insured benefits

•      Defining and developing a benefits and insurance strategy

•      Negotiating and owning insured benefits

•      Acting as main point of contact with insurance broker

•      Maintaining insurance broker and vendor relationships

Focus on HR benefits, wellbeing, and communication

•      Working closely with local HR and other relevant key stakeholders in developing a benefits strategy

•      Taking lead on and coordinating BCG benefits across the Nordic offices (with support from local HR)

•      Being a Nordic super-user of the Benify platform

•      Ensuring development of the Benify platform together with Global Benefits Team and local HR

•      Managing benefits related queries from staff and the organization  

•      Looking into each Nordic market to confirm that BCG’s benefit package is competitive and leading discussions on change with BCG management

•      Handling adhoc requests from the organization and conduct a benchmark if needed

•      Liaising with staff and suppliers about provision and access

•      Developing current benefit package

•      Coordinating and communicating insured benefits (including employees with Senior roles)

•      Acting as a link to Wellbeing initiatives together with Global HR and local offices

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and monitor the overall management of the contracts.
  • Monitor and review contractor performance.

  • Provide administration of contracts including review of rates, schedule of values, etc.
  • Communicate and coordinate as a primary point-of-contact with project managers, project engineers, and other project team members on contract, RFP, and RFQ related matters.
  • Track errors, problems, reworks and aggressively pursue back charges and warranty claims.
  • Monitor vendor payments, reduce occurrence of duplicate charges, charges not billable under contract, overpayment errors, and periodically audit contractor invoices.
  • Participate on negotiating committees to establish contract structure, price, terms and conditions and other pertinent contract conditions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline. 
  • Must have 1+ years of closely related contract administration experience. 
  • Basic knowledge of contract administration principles, contracts and the application of contract administration including legal terms and conditions.
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn computer technology including Maximo, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint or similar applications.
