Job Summary:
In this position, engineers will utilize and develop their basic knowledge of core manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering principles to design, analyze, and improve tooling methods. Job Responsibilities (may include, but not limited to):

  • Tool Engineering Design with emphasis on Ergonomics and Safety
  • Utilization of the latest, high technology tools to create Tool Engineering designs, NC Programming, composite fiber placement, Laser Projection, etc.
  • Leading/participating in cross-functional continuous improvement projects that enable both product and process improvements
  • Creation of Manufacturing Build and Tooling Plans for new aircraft
  • Develop manufacturing processes by modifying and designing new equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components
  • Observe and analyze current methods and processes for making recommendations on improving production quality, work simplification and cost reduction
  • Develop the most efficient ways to use people, machines, materials, information, and energy to make a product or service

Qualifications
 

Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Manufacturing Engineering Technology
  • Robotics Technology
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Other related fields

- Partners with HR Coordinators to process employment transactions (hires, transfers, equity adjustments, promotions, etc.) and to acquire employee data reflecting employment trends/progress towards key initiatives or expectations.

- May deploy training to inform or assist employees/managers on job related activities, policies or best practices.

- Participates in the interview process for area openings if requested by Hiring Manager.

- Coordinates day one activities for new employee on-boarding following a prescribed checklist. Initiate relocation if needed.

- Provides input for process/policy improvement

- HR Generalist supports HR programs, processes and procedures emanating from COEs or other HR Leadership areas.

What you will do
bull; Under minimal direction, designs conceptual solutions for customers based on customer needs and team direction and strategies.

Job Summary

  • In this position you will supports the controls department in any projects, service calls, or preventative maintenance agreements. As well as when other divisions require controls support.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Installs, troubleshoots, maintains, inspects, modifies and repairs HVAC Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Work with Controls Engineers on projects to program and commissioning new and existing BMS systems.
  • Applying knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Creating installation drawings, submittal drawings, as-built drawings, control panel layout, and transition to service.
  • Creating bill of materials and ordering controls equipment and materials.
  • Work with Controls Engineers to review equipment submittals for incorporation into design.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in HVAC, AAS, or BAS, or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years related controls experience.
  • Driving Requirements: 
    • Must be able to meet P1 Group qualifications to operate a vehicle on company business. Must be able to satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Other Requirements: 
    • Work Hours: Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required.
    • Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Certifications or Industry Experience: 
    • Computer skills including AutoCAD, Visio, etc. is preferred.   
    • Experience with Johnson FX, Niagara AX and N4, or other building automation platforms. Familiarity in Bacnet, LON works, and Modbus is preferred.  
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings is required.
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of IP based networking is preferred.
    • Building DDC industry knowledge as it pertains to HVAC Building Automation Systems is required.
