We are currently recruiting for a school based in the Accrington area who are looking for a school business support officer or bursar to cover a long term temporary contract ASAP.
This school bursar position requires an excellent working knowledge of SIMS and ideally FMS6, as you will be expected to hit the ground running and deliver a high standard of work from the outset.
The post is full time (8.30-4.30pm) Monday to Friday and you need to be available for a handover period with the current post holder.
The skills
- Excellent administrative and ICT skills (including SIMS and FMS6) and the ability to multi-task.
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Can be flexible and supportive.
- The ability to work with high levels of tact, confidentiality and discretion, especially when dealing with pupils and parents.
- At least 6-12 months previous experience of working within a school.
The role
- Day to day finance procedures, including order processing, invoicing and reconciliations.
- Dealing with petty cash.
- Supporting parents, pupils and staff with queries
- Being the first port of call in the office and dealing with telephone calls and emails
- Supporting another member of staff with attendance matters on SIMS
- Ad hoc admin as required by the Head teacher.
- Potentially assisting with any HR administration.
- Assist with any school lettings.

Role Requirements
•Driving licence is essential

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Podiatrist with Leadership and advanced clinical skills to be part of the established Community Podiatry Team in Central Lancashire Community and Wellbeing Network
You will be capable of working autonomously to provide direct clinical care to patients demonstrating expert clinical skills and knowledge and will be expected to hold a clinical caseload commensurate with the grade.
