Role overview Introduction to the role: We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our IT Transformation team. We work primarily with off the shelf solutions configured to meet our business requirements. Projects range from smaller solutions such as room booking systems to major software projects that span the entire business such as finance system upgrades. Introduction to the team: As part of the Delivery and Change department in the firm, you will be part of a large team of Project Managers, Business Analysts and Testers within the PMO. About the role:
Reporting to the Consultancy Director, Stopford Energy and Environment is looking to recruit a Senior Consultant to help develop the Consultancy Business, supervise and carry out process consultancy duties. These include identifying and developing business opportunities, generation of proposals, projects and consultancy activities, working within agreed time scales and budgets so that the needs of the client are fully met, together with the business needs of the company.
Key responsibilities of our Lead Process Consultant:
- Be capable of acting as Lead Process Consultant to coordinate and control all safety and sustainability aspects of a project
- Responsible for maintaining and developing process engineering standards for the company
- Supervision of other process consultants and control of the budget/manhours
- Be responsible for approving/checking the process consultancy output – i.e. approve reports and process calculations.
Our Lead Process Consultant will have the following skills and experience:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering and chartered status
- A minimum of 10 years post-graduate relevant experience
- In depth experience of risk assessments, HAZOP in team leader / chair, QRA, HAZAN, COMAH, Human Factors, DSEAR
- Ability to apply skills into different sectors
- Ability to identify new Consulting opportunities that will utilise Stopford’s multi-disciplinary skills in the low carbon economy
- Be able to demonstrate in-depth process engineering knowledge from Concept to Detailed Design
- Experience in managing client relationships in a technical role
- Organisational and administrative skills
