What does a great Business Development Executive do?
• Establish new core relationships from within an assigned named prospect list of non-Fiserv core financial institutions ($1B-$10B in assets) located throughout the country, growing an overall portfolio of relationships and future potential associated revenue
• Position requires heavy prospecting capabilities as primary responsibility is to establish relationships where little to none exist with Fiserv today

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of deep Financial Services/Banking expertise including demonstrable contact list within financial institutions
• 5+ years delivery, sales and account management experience, as well as prior experience utilizing a consultative selling approach

Hospice Care Coordinator/Account Executive need to cover Kansas City, MO, Blue Springs, Independence, Lee's Summit and Liberty marketing for Hospice Referrals. Full Time, full benefit position with uncapped monthly commission plan, mileage, expense account and mileage.

Responsibilities

Responsible for interacting and assisting with referrals from Brookdale Communities and healthcare professionals in hospitals, home health agencies, nursing homes, long term care facilities and physicians in private practice. Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and weekly marketing meetings assigned by the Hospice Director and/or the Hospice Sales Coach. Responsible for the overall coordination of business development and education of patients, insurance companies, physicians, hospitals, nurses, community resources, other healthcare specialists and the local community.

  1. Establishes relationships with referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, long-term care facilities and assisted living facilities.
  2. Ensures referral source lists are governed by Brookdale and revised with approval of Division Vice President or other designee.
  3. Apprises the Hospice Director or Sales Manager on a predetermined basis of scheduled presentations.
  4. Prepares and presents presentations of Brookdale’s various in-services to referral sources and follows-up with the referral sources.
  5. Educates referral sources on the components of hospice care services.
  6. Serves as a liaison between Brookdale and physicians, hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities and all other referral sources to identify healthcare needs and assist in meeting those needs through Brookdale’s various product lines.
  7. Communicates frequently with each referral source to ensure that the expectations of the referral source and the needs of the patients are being met.
  8. Assists in identifying and resolving any issue, dissatisfaction or problem that the referral source is experiencing with Brookdale’s various sources.
  9. Evaluates, continually, Brookdale’s marketing strategies and advise management on effective strategies and suggests any changes.
  10. Serves as Brookdale’s representative in the community to promote a positive image of Brookdale and to promote interest in Brookdale’s various home health and hospice services.
  11. Works closely with Brookdale staff to coordinate necessary services for patients and to promote communication between staff and the referral source.
  12. Pre-screens patients, when possible, referred by physicians, hospitals, long-term facilities and assisted living facilities, eligibility and status, when referral is contemporaneous with discharge.
  13. Serves as a liaison between hospital and nursing facility discharge planners by visiting patients, as requested, to ensure a smooth transition to the patient’s home.
  14. Delivers plans of care to physician’s offices for signature, as appropriate, and ensures timely return of such plans.
  15. Participates in company-sponsored programs and meetings.

Qualifications

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, and/or Licensed RN or LPN preferred. Minimum two years experience in sales or marketing, preferably in a home health or hospice care company or a minimum of three years of nursing experience; or therapist, social worker, or medically trained equivalent, with experience in social services coordination for patients with multiple, complex medical and/or socioeconomic needs; or equivalent combination or education and experience required.

Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements
LPN/LVN Licensure preferred. Must have a car with current insurance coverage and a valid driver’s license.

Management/Decision Making
Uses independent judgment to make decisions based on precedents and established guidelines. Solves problems using standard procedures and precedents. Knows when to refer issues to supervisor and when to handle them personally. Able to work cooperatively as a member of a team. Demonstrates professional conduct and ethics according to organization policies and procedures.

  • Working with a team to develop an overall territory account plan and maximize opportunities to generate sales activity with customers, partners and publishers
  • Identify prospects and new customers in assigned geographic regions
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes and overcome objections in order to maximize opportunities
  • Manage a virtual team around deals and delivery to achieve/exceed monthly sales targets and net profit quotas
  • Show insight to our customers and partners regarding software publisher contracts and optimal usage of agreements
  • Evaluate software contract spend and utilization in a given organization in order to optimize spending patterns, technology usage, and implementation strategies.   
  • Develop strong knowledge of industry trends by developing proactive professional relationships with software publisher representatives
  • Be the field resource to customers and partners for leading industry volume license offerings from top publishers
  • Provide leadership and licensing knowledge to customers and maintain a strong presence in the software industry community
  • Generate opportunities for meetings with key decision making personnel to drive the sales process forward

What we need to see from you

What you should really know:

  • Professional sales experience in high-tech or service-related industries, preferably software sales and software licensing experience
  • Proven solution selling experience with an emphasis on strong account and territory management
  • High level of knowledge of internal organization working and Information Technology trends
  • Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with C-level executives
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented with strong skills in presenting, communicating, organizing, multi-tasking and time management
  • Solid problem-solving and consultative skills
  • Proficient with productivity tools like Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Higher education preferred

What does a great Business Development Executive do?

• Establish new core relationships from within an assigned named prospect list of non-Fiserv core financial institutions ($1B-$10B in assets) located throughout the country, growing an overall portfolio of relationships and future potential associated revenue

• Position requires heavy prospecting capabilities as primary responsibility is to establish relationships where little to none exist with Fiserv today

• Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key decision makers within the large banking space that will eventually grow into core opportunities in 12-24 months

• Build and enhance strong relationships and communication at the C-level, articulating the Fiserv value proposition, with other key executives, key decision makers and influencers and act as a trusted advisor to senior executives within the prospective client organization

• Provides product and solution subject matter expertise through the assessment and understanding of customer needs and requirements; determines fit of specific products with customer needs

• Analyze and keep abreast of significant market changes (trends, issues, M&A activity, and corporate developments)

• Develop long term rolodex to continue to fill outer year pipelines

• Perform other duties as required


Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 5+ years of deep Financial Services/Banking expertise including demonstrable contact list within financial institutions

• 5+ years delivery, sales and account management experience, as well as prior experience utilizing a consultative selling approach


Additional Skills Desired:

• Experience working in a large, matrix organization with hundreds of products/services

• Ability to assess potential sales opportunities and develop value propositions

• Strong prospecting capabilities and territory planning and management are an absolute requirement

• Effective negotiation skills

• Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate, understand and deliver corporate, strategic and product specific messages

• In-depth understanding of customer goals, objectives, strategies, competitive situation and clients’ decision making processes

• Establishes rapport based on professionalism and active listening skills

• Understands the sales process, development and qualification of a business need, identification of target clients, and favorable positioning of products.

• Assesses client’s business needs and applies business impact model methodology to justify Fiserv’s solution to solve business problems

• Applies thorough knowledge of Fiserv’s solutions and client’s financial metrics in implementing selling strategies

• Incorporates thorough understanding of industry trends and client’s key challenges into sales presentations

• Describes Fiserv’s value in the context of emerging market trends and how they affect the client

• Articulates solutions in terms of ROI to the client and sells business value

• Demonstrated sales competencies – financial business acumen, executive relations, competitive selling, persuasion, sales planning, presentation, targeting, sales call execution, closing, executive credibility, negotiation, consultative selling, relational partnering, appointment getting, and value creation
