Management of projects includes supervising, coordinating and scheduling heavy civil/utility construction projects, as well as, assisting project team in determining construction requirements, project planning, record keeping, project resources management to ensure that project plans and specifications requirements are met.
Estimating duties includes preparation of complete estimates from bidding plans and specifications. Must prepare detailed estimate updates, as the design evolves, including preparing variance summaries between estimates. Must have knowledge and understanding of unit costs and the factors that affect construction cost. Ability to prepare detailed instructions to bidders, trade specific clarifications and comprehensive bid packages. Ability to prepare detailed scope review documents in preparation for subcontract negotiation. Report directly to company executive management. Position requires periodic travel to various construction projects in the Southeast region.

Must be detail-oriented with a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience as a heavy civil construction project manager/estimator.
