Class 1 Low Loader Driver

An exciting position has become available for a full time Low Loader Driver, to service our clients North West Depot, the successful candidate will be placed in and round Merseyside.

The role holder will receive a competitive salary.

Role Requirements

•Must have previous plant experience
•Have a clean Class 1 driving licence
•Possess a good attitude to work and customer service

Role Responsibilities

•Supervising or helping to load and unload goods.
•Making sure loads are safely secured.
•Following traffic reports and changing your route if necessary.
•Completing delivery paperwork and logbooks.
•Thorough vehicle checking before each journey.

• Valid Class 1 licence with a minimum of 2 years Class 1 driving experience
• CPC and Digi tacho
• Maximum 6 points on licence NO DR, INs or DD's ect.

1 year LGV CE experience is required.

You MUST have:

• A valid UK Driving Licence with CE entitlement
• A valid UK CPC card
• A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card 

As a LGV CE Linehaul Driver, you: 

• Will work any 5 from 7 shifts with variable start and finish times
• Will have a desire to work predominately Afternoon or Night shifts
• Are happy to assist in loading or unloading
• Require trunking work

CLASS 1 DRIVERS WANTED - WIDNES 

Various shifts available with immediate starts!

As one of our drivers you will be the face of our distribution operation being visible to thousands of customers whilst out on the road, you will be responsible for

•Completing the delivery drops to shops.
•Making sure products reach our stores on time and in good condition
•Unloading goods from roll on cages using a tail lift.
•Collect waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.
•Conduct daily vehicle checks.

An ideal candidate will have:

•Full UK Class 1/LGV/HGV/C+E licence with a minimum of 6 months UK experience
•Full CPC & Tacho
•Positive and professional attitude
•No more that 6points on your Licence (No DR,DD or IN codes)
•Understanding on the working time Directive
•Have driven a class 1 HGV for the last 180 days in the UK
