The Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst is part of the Finance team that focuses on the accounting and financial reporting support for UMB. Within the Finance environment, this team interacts with internal partners and external auditors to evaluate accounting issues and analyze and develop conclusions. With our robust training to provide extensive UMB and financial knowledge, the Accounting and Financial Reporting team prepares accurate financial statements to file with external agencies and regulators.
The Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst has a specific and impactful function for UMB growth to provide strategic thinking and accounting insight. The Finance team are subject matter experts that assist to provide research and appropriate accounting conclusions.
The Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst is responsible for assisting with monthly close and quarterly financial reporting procedures. This position works very closely on audit and compliance research. The Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst also assists management in the implementation of new accounting standards. Financial Controller Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications

The Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst is part of the Finance team that focuses on the accounting and financial reporting support for UMB. Within the Finance environment, this team interacts with internal partners and external auditors to evaluate accounting issues and analyze and develop conclusions. With our robust training to provide extensive UMB and financial knowledge, the Accounting and Financial Reporting team prepares accurate financial statements to file with external agencies and regulators.


The Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst has a specific and impactful function for UMB growth to provide strategic thinking and accounting insight. The Finance team are subject matter experts that assist to provide research and appropriate accounting conclusions.


The Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst is responsible for assisting with monthly close and quarterly financial reporting procedures. This position works very closely on audit and compliance research. The Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst also assists management in the implementation of new accounting standards. You can expect a fast-paced environment with unpredictable scenarios while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to business needs. Our Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst is motivated to be self-driven and enjoy the challenge of learning new skills while controlling the progression of their career. This role focuses on providing accurate and timely financial reporting for UMB.


The Finance team is about creating strong connections amongst its associates to develop and maintain a positive working experience. You are valued for who you are in a fun, professional setting. _How you’ll spend your time:_


+ You will use problem solving skills to determine if accounting is meeting compliance and regulatory guidelines and if not, know what to change so we are

+ You will need strong communication skills to work with internal and external partners to ensure everyone is on the same page.

+ You will to have to be flexible in day to day responsibilities
