We are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who brings the ability to produce and manage our job sites and various trades people. The Opportunity
You will be responsible for the daily execution and management of on-site operations for our projects. This is a role that is 50% production and 50% Management and where your carpentry and leadership skills will be equally vital. You will be asked to lead our production on projects, directing field personnel and maintaining good communication with the subcontractors, architects, engineers, planners, surveyors, inspectors, designers and clients in order to make sure the job is finished on time and within budget. You will also demonstrate leadership skills and will maintain a safe work environment.

This is an entry level position to work as a General Laborer. Core trade tasks for the General Laborer trade include (but are not limited to): production grinding, chipping, burning, oxy fuel and plasma cutting, set up of welding equipment, operating rolling stock as licensed, removal of snow and ice, and maintenance tasks. Additionally, General Laborers may be trained and assigned to work tasks of any other trade classification.
Preferred– High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred – Experience using basic hand tools and working in a construction or industrial manufacturing environment.
Required – Must meet the requirements of the General Laborer physical task analysis, including (but not limited to): working inside, outside, at heights, in confined spaces, on units, on ships, and/or in buildings. Must also be able to wear a respirator and use pneumatic tools.
This opportunity is located in Bath, Maine. Relocation is provided to all candidates outside of 100 miles who relocate to the area.

Duties may include, assisting various tradesman with site cleanup, some demo, sweeping and picking up materials. This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain experience with some of the biggest construction companies and general contractors in the state.
