About the role
The main purpose of this role is to complete fire risk repairs and improvement work safely, efficiently and to client satisfaction. You will organise daily jobs effectively and independently, taking into consideration job priority and appointments made whilst assisting colleagues in ensuring timely completion of jobs.
The ideal candidate will be competent in at least two of the following trades (one of which must be joinery):
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 qualification in a core trade (or equivalent) and haveexperience of working in fire risk works (renewal and repairs to fire doors). You will also have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, demonstrating these when liaising with customers and team members.
The successful candidate will be a determined individual with a “can do” attitude. You will be methodical and accurate, completing tasks to agreed deadlines. Experience working with Housing Associations and managing repairs is desirable as you will be dealing with members of the public on a regular basis.
A basic DBS check and a full UK driving license is required for this role.
