We have an excellent opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer in East Grinstead.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for working within the team to provide a complete mechanical/electrical/civil solution within tight timescales and to tight budgets.

Other key areas will involve, designs, tests, large-scale electrical equipment or machinery for use in a number of industries that include water, waste water, rail and highways.

You will need to have strong experience in producing detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, written reports, site surveys, schedules and other related materials. Using electrical engineering tools, such as computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment, to carry out responsibilities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Keeping senior staff apprised of important and relevant service/design decisions; ensuring that the company's objectives are achieved.
• Carrying out service and project related work within agreed upon deadlines and according to the budget.

What we’re looking for:

• Recognised Electrical Degree
• Extensive experience in designs, tests, installs and maintenance of large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for use in manufacturing.

• Experience in Control systems and SCADA design- User requirement specs (URS), functional design specifications (FDS)
• Experienced in PLC systems (not necessarily coding but how they operate and the outline design of them.

The role is ideal for someone who is technically forward thinking and very passionate about their trade. This includes Legionella control and monitoring activities.
