Install, maintain, & repair surface wellhead & frac equipment consisting of API 6A Gate Valves, chokes, casing, and tubing heads and spools; conventional and multi-bowl wellheads in both the Field & Shop environments.
Essential Duties:
• Installs and tests equipment in accordance with operating procedures
• Installs and tests equipment, inspecting condition and communicating information with customer Making repairs to customer property and rental assets including valves, wellheads, spools, chokes, actuators, and other surface wellhead equipment as required
• Assembling and breaking down of new of used equipment
• Provides feedback to the Company through reporting of problems and failures to appropriate personnel for resolution
• Prepares service order, tickets, and customer related documentation accurately and completely Reading and interpreting blue prints and drawings.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by providing timely and knowledgeable service
• Executing general shop maintenance: Storage and equipment clean-up.
• Tear down and troubleshooting of customer owned property for inspection, repair reassembly and testing based on customer communications.
• Assembling, testing and painting of new or used wellhead/tree sections
Skills & Abilities
• Knowledge of wellhead and valve installation, operation, maintenance and repair
