Our technicians work in a safety-first type of environment and don't mind heights or working on mechanical parts. As a service technician, you will be working with 480 3 phase motors, troubleshooting issues with our cranes, and working with clients and facility directors to ensure that our clients are properly being taken care of. Our service technicians are provided with a company vehicle for their travels and have the opportunity to experience new and challenging situations with each job.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at varied customer locations, as directed. Be available "on call" as part of service office rotation and provide afterhours service, as required.
• Conduct on-site electrical, mechanical, structural and electronic troubleshooting to determine cause for equipment malfunction and establish the necessary repairs utilizing visual inspection, test procedures and appropriate test equipment. Perform a general post repair audit prior to completion of work, documenting that all required safety features are functional or documenting deficiencies and attaching a deficiency tag to the crane.
• Document findings and make corrective recommendations to the customer including a written "Safety Notification" of any observed or known safety concerns, if appropriate. Determine customer's intentions to purchase repairs and advise local service office of actions necessary to sell or complete the repairs.
• Consult with customer regarding all repair and safety related issues and discuss recommendations that will assist the customer with improving their material handling applications, prior to leaving job site. Determine items requiring quotation.
• Complete and provide proper electronic documentation utilizing the established company digital tools required for each service, obtaining the customer's signature and acceptance.
• Generate sales leads during service calls and report to service office, following established guidelines.
• Read, understand and apply the contents of all OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI and other codes or regulations pertaining to our industry. Refresh and update knowledge periodically.
• Complete service reports and other required and appropriate documents in a professional, accurate, neat and legible manner and submit same in a timely manner and in accordance with established guidelines.
• Maintain regular communication with the service office and Planner, in accordance with established practices.
• Maintain all company issued equipment, vehicle and assets in a safe and proper working order. Operate tools, equipment and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Notify supervisor of any deficiencies for resolution.
• Maintain supply of forms, literature, inventory and miscellaneous materials in the service vehicle. Document use or sale to customer, as required.
• Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer.
• Maintain company vehicle and uniforms in a clean and presentable manner.
• Participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education: Associate degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience is preferred.
Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair. Some electronic experience is preferred but not necessary. Prior experience with cranes is a plus.
Other Requirements: Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license. Must be willing and able to work off the ground. Must be able to work varied overtime, as required by customer, be available for "on call" as part of the service office rotation and be able to travel and work out of town, on occasion.
Must be able to frequently lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. although not on a daily basis. Must be able to lift 100 lbs. on a rare basis. This position requires frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, and overhead reaching. This position requires occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling. This position will be inside approximately 90% of the time and outside approximately 10% of the time. Field Service Technician
Job Responsibilities:
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
+ Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
+ Maintain a service van and its inventory.
+ Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
+ Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
+ Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
+ Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred. Any brand is acceptable.
- A level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, Transmission, Drivability and Engine Repair
- Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Computer skills
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality

Summary:
Install, maintain, & repair surface wellhead & frac equipment consisting of API 6A Gate Valves, chokes, casing, and tubing heads and spools; conventional and multi-bowl wellheads in both the Field & Shop environments.
Essential Duties:
• Installs and tests equipment in accordance with operating procedures
• Installs and tests equipment, inspecting condition and communicating information with customer Making repairs to customer property and rental assets including valves, wellheads, spools, chokes, actuators, and other surface wellhead equipment as required
• Assembling and breaking down of new of used equipment
• Provides feedback to the Company through reporting of problems and failures to appropriate personnel for resolution
• Prepares service order, tickets, and customer related documentation accurately and completely Reading and interpreting blue prints and drawings.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by providing timely and knowledgeable service
• Executing general shop maintenance: Storage and equipment clean-up.
• Tear down and troubleshooting of customer owned property for inspection, repair reassembly and testing based on customer communications.
• Assembling, testing and painting of new or used wellhead/tree sections
Skills & Abilities
• Knowledge of wellhead and valve installation, operation, maintenance and repair
• Ability to troubleshoot field equipment and products
• Ability to reason and problem solve
Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent. (May Substitute two years of related experience and/or training)
• Minimum of Two years’ relevant experience
Preferred
• Ability to operate PBMO and Full Hydraulic Lubricators a plus
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
• Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
• Additionally, employee must be able to operate, handle, and lift shop equipment and tools up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to clearly hear voices or alarms, bells, and other noises.
• Be able to work in the outdoor conditions such as heat, cold, wet, and be exposed to dust, fumes and other airborne particles, and loud noises.
