THE ROLE
•As an Electrician you will be expected to install, maintain, and test electrical installations including fire alarms and emergency lighting
•Carrying out fault finding, repairs, new installations
•You will be working on residential and commercial premises within the M25 area. Mainly within zones 1-3 of London
•You will also be expected to carry out emergency 24 hours call outs (approx. 1 week every 5 weeks on call)
•You will be working full time, Monday to Friday (with 24 hours call outs when required)
•Ideal role for those wishing to develop their fault finding, electrical test inspection and certification experience (with support from suitable training courses where required.)
•This is a permanent role Monday to Friday 40-hours a week
THE PERSON
•The successful candidate MUST an experienced and Qualified Electrician
•You MUST have or be working towards your City and Guilds 2391 & 18th edition of BS7671
•You MUST have a full driving license (ideally clean or maximum of 6 points)
•You will need to be flexible and available for overtime/callouts when required
•This is a customer facing role, so you will need to be well presented and courteous
•Live within a commutable distance to the London office
•Must provide own hand tools (power tools, tester and access equipment will be provided)

•£40,000.00 plus

About the Mobile Maintenance Electrician Role:
The successful candidate must have a “CAN DO” attitude with a desire to satisfy and resolve client’s problems at the earliest possible opportunity.
You must be located ideally within M25, joining our exciting Service and Maintenance department, you will be a key member of our Electrical maintenance team.
Working for our blue-chip client base, we will be responding for anything from tripping circuits, power sockets not working, through to complete loss of power and emergency response required.

Mobile Maintenance Electrician Requirements:
•IEE 18th edition regulations.

•Full UK driving licence
•Flexible approach to working hours due to planned works at times being out of hours.
•Ideally live within the M25

About the Electrician/Testerrole:
You will work as part of the electrical team and your focus will be to assist in the smooth delivery of a quality customer-focused service. You will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to perform electrician duties, including periodic testing and certification, replacing consumer units, circuit repairs/replacements, fault finding in residents’ homes.
Responsibilities of our Electrician/Tester include:
- The day-to-day management of individual workload
- Carrying out renewals of Consumer Units
- Fault finding, testing and repairs/rectification/renewal of electrical circuits and components
- Ensuring that all works are carried out safely, to current regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities, and to an excellent quality standard
- Updating PDA devices with key information as required, including obtaining Resident feedback and ensuring excellent satisfaction
- Maintaining our corporate image and service standards, including wearing appropriate PPE
- Providing trade advice and support to other team members
- Where necessary, dealing with resident’s issues and complaints
- Taking part in out of hours on-call system as required by the service
- Adhering to Peabody/ PGM health and safety policy, equality and diversity policy, and the environmental standards and accreditations
What we’re looking for in our Electrician/Tester:
- C&G 2382 – IET Wiring Regulations 17th Edition (BS 7671:2008 incorporating amendment number 3:2015)
- C&G 2394/2395 – Testing and Certification (or equivalent)
- NICEIC Registered
- Site Operative CSCS card
- Asbestos Awareness Training
- Excellent IT knowledge
- Relevant experience (with strong references)
- Full UK driving License
- Additional Multi-Trade Discipline
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure/to short deadlines
