In a Nutshell:

 

As our Group Design and Sustainability Manager you will support the Group Technical function in day to day duties by coordinating the flow of data and information with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders on all sustainability, environmental and modern methods of construction (MMC) matters.

 

What we would like from you:

 

Key Responsibilities –

  • Support the development and delivery of zero-carbon homes agenda and technical solutions for the Vistry Group.
  • Experience of ventilation and overheating risk would be an advantage.
  • Ensure that new associated regulation requirements are anticipated and incorporated as required.
  • Good understanding of renewable technologies and low carbon solutions.
  • Experience in leading on ecological inputs into large-scale projects, including Biodiversity Net Gain.
  • Producing quality assured ecology deliverables.
  • Liaise with regional business units and attend meetings to progress all matters relevant to the role.
  • Identify, support, and facilitate sustainability initiatives and improvements, such as the development and monitoring of sustainability KPIs and best practice.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of the Groups sustainable, site arrangements
  • Encourage continued change and improvement within the Vistry Group.
  • Review potential modern methods of construction (MMC) for implementation across the business units including preparation of a business case for use.
  • Develop Innovative ideas and bring problem-solving solutions.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety.
  • Excellent understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC Standards and knowledge of BOPAS would be an advantage.
  • Ensure cost effective design control and buildability.
  • Ensure third-party information is accurate and commercially suitable.
  • Experience in embodied carbon measurement.
  • Experience in designing out waste and the circular economy would be an advantage.
  • Design, deliver and implement the Groups environment and sustainability training, supporting staff to understand their responsibilities, and improve technical awareness of environmental aspects.
  • Recommend courses of action.

  • Understanding of policy context and market drivers/challenges for zero-carbon and environmental sustainability within the housing sector.
  • Ability to review, analyse and benchmark energy performance.

Primary Purpose

The Manager Professional Services is a blended role combining the skills of a Sr. Consultant with the management responsibilities of a consulting manager. This position is a customer-facing, billable position chartered with engaging customers in a consultative capacity and providing specialized expertise around inContact products, the contact center industry, and other contact center ecosystem topics including CRM, telecommunications infrastructure, analytics, social media, and others.  The Manager Professional Services, depending on the types of projects onto which he or she is deployed, will be responsible for both technical and business tasks including managing customer expectations and satisfaction, configuring inContact products based on best practices and customer requirements, coordinating inter-departmental activities within inContact, tracking time and status within inContact systems, and other tasks related to the success of his or her engagement.  This position is also an organizational leader and is expected to serve as a mentor and coach for junior staff.

Financial Responsibility

• Ensure that customer product installations are made in timeframes provided by contracts and Statement of Work
• Accurately adjust customer accounts ensure the appropriate fees are invoiced
• Reduce company liability by providing an accurate interpretation of the abilities of the inContact suite of service
• Accurately Track hours for customer billing
• Travel Costs remain within budget
• Assists with up selling to customers
• Accurately enter products and services on customer account according to the contract
• Manage to a project budget.
• Ensure expense are accurately reported according to the Company’s Credit Card, Travel and Purchasing policies.

Major Functions/Responsibility

1.       This position is responsible for consultative performance in all areas related to inContact solutions provisioning, implementation, and deployment of technical and business solutions to clients. The customer base consists of public and private sector agencies and businesses employing diverse information management and contact center environments.

TECHNICAL

2.       Provide senior-level technical configuration and, in some cases, programming as required.

3.       Provide process, data and object modeling in a variety of application and database environments.

4.       Provide database design, development, and enhancement, as well as management and coordination of changes to existing applications.

5.       Provide technical architecture leadership, analysis, design, development, and enhancement.

6.       Maintain senior-level expertise and currency in industry leading contact center technologies.

PROJECT

7.       Serve in a project manager capacity via management of end to end system life cycle development of small to large-scale projects.

8.       Develop costing proposals for projects, perform risk analysis, and manage change control.

9.       Provide business analysis, business area assessment, user needs analysis and business systems design for major projects.

10.   Conduct comprehensive cost/benefit analysis and prepare business cases for projects.

BUSINESS

11.   Present a professional image in conduct, attitude and attire.

12.   Assist with the development of client information management standards and evaluation of technology trends.

13.   Contribute to business area assessment, user needs analysis and business systems design.

14.   Assist with comprehensive cost/benefit analysis and preparation of business cases for new projects.

SUPERVISORY

15.   Supervise a team of direct reports consisting of Associate-, Staff-, and Senior-level Consultants.

16.   Supervise and mentor all intermediate and junior level inContact staff assigned as members of your project team.

17.   Supervise during project life cycle any intermediate or junior level client staff, or any sub-contracted personnel assigned to your project team.

18.   Supervise and mentor all intermediate and junior level staff working on other projects under your area of responsibility.

19.   Provide leadership to individuals on team(s) through coaching, feedback, development goals, and performance management.

20.   Prioritize, assign and manage department activities and projects in accordance with the department’s goals and objectives.

21.   Adjust hours of work, priorities and staff assignments to ensure efficient operation, based on workload.

22.   Responsible for recruiting, hiring and firing for the department.

Experience Requirement:

• 1+ years management experience. Type of experience varies depending on Consultant’s specialization:
• Implementation: broad skills in both technology & analysis; experience in communicating at a technical and functional level while managing business rapport.
• Business Optimization: deep skills around business analysis/call centers; experience in the KPIs and best practices of call centers and their operations.
• Education & Enablement: professional and confident public presence; experience in commanding large audiences as a trainer and/or speaker.

YOUR ROLE
As Project Engineer your primary role will be the effective management of the interface between the design, commercial (procurement particularly) and delivery functions of the project to ensure time, cost and quality targets are achieved. You will also act as the primary interface with the project site team, providing assistance and accurate information in a timely fashion, checking that all on site activities are aligned with the project requirements, installed correctly, and verifying that systems work as they should.

You will;

  • Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.
  • Primarily manage the interface between the pre-construction, design, commercial (procurement particularly) and delivery functions of the project to ensure time, cost and quality targets are achieved 
  • Understand and assist in Pre-construction activities to ensure a seamless transition from project handover
  • Manage the Detailed Design and Procurement phase to ensure we successfully achieve Client CSR & GT Validation sign off’s, whilst maximising our opportunities for procurement savings.
  • Organise any enabling work to ensure a smooth transition to site delivery and monitor the site delivery team to meet all project requirements.
  • Ensure proactive planning of the Commissioning and Testing phase is in place to enable a smooth transition into Takeover / Handover
