Job/Position Summary

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Establish and communicate the project terms of reference (product definition, timing, budget, commercial targets etc.).
• Develop a project execution plan that defines what is needed and when, to successfully deliver the terms of reference (including funding, people and facilities) as well as identifying and mitigating potential execution risks.
• Lead globally located cross functional teams to deliver the execution plan.  Ensure that a suitable cadence is established to manage the activities of the team.
• Ensure resources are available as required by the plan, to ensure successful program execution.
• Ensure the project is being executed to the CTS stage gate procedure known as PDP.
• Coordinate technical, quality and commercial engagements with the customer as appropriate. 
• Assure “safe launch” to customer quality and delivery expectations, successfully delivering the project into volume production.
• Secure project funding based on the assumptions at the award of a customer project.
• Facilitate completion of appropriate requirements for prototype and production program deliverables.
• Manage scope creep, by updating and communicating the project terms of reference.
• Meet and beat project financial targets by tracking costs (BOM costs, tooling costs and program Capex) and facilitating margin improvement initiatives (through cost reductions or price increases).  Ensure that all customer changes are adequately costed and quoted.  Facilitate and coordinate CTS cost improvement initiatives during program execution.
• Ensure all customer payments are received on time.
• Facilitate and participate in customer meetings at customer and CTS locations.
• Participate in supplier meetings as required.
• Maintain project open issues list and facilitate completion of project action items.
• Communicate project status and ensure risks are identified and mitigation plans implemented during project execution.
• Support and lead non-product related projects, such as assembly line transfers and suppliers change initiatives when required
• Support VA/VE initiatives (CTS WAVE program) and manage to completion any assigned VA/VE projects
• Support other Program Management initiatives, as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong working knowledge and proven experience in automotive product and program management systems including APQP and PPAP.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
• Proven experience and interaction with suppliers, customers and senior management.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office especially Excel & PowerPoint.
• Thorough understanding of Program management principles and methods.
• In depth knowledge of MS Project.  
• Experience with PCB, electronic components, magnetics, stamping, plastic injection molding, low and high-volume assembly helpful.
• ERP/MRP system experience desirable.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related fields.
• 5 years of previous experience as a Program Manager preferably in the automotive industry.

Physical Demands

• Ability to work several hours at a computer.
• Ability to travel (domestic and international) as needed (up to 20%).

Summary/Objective:

The LCI Project Management Office is hiring an IT Project manager to oversee project execution within Information Technology Integrations program supporting M&A transformation projects.  This position is supporting a dynamic and growing team of IT professionals within agile teams.  This position will help ensure successful execution on our most critical technology initiatives.  The Project Manager will plan, establish, and manage projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects.  Work will be fast paced and will involve coordinating with technical teams, business teams, and senior leadership across the organization.  The right candidate is someone who thrives at creating process and organization, but still appreciates the need for flexible and fast execution. 

Essential Functions

1. Program/Project Planning and Execution:
2. Lead project planning. Prepare charters and other planning documents as needed.  Help gather and organize requirements. Build and update project plans.
3. Track and report project status in best possible tool, either using formal enterprise tools (e.g. Service Now), or ad-hoc tools (excel) to obtain the best outcome for the project and team members.
4. Coordinate with formal and informal project managers/coordinators on active projects. Develop procedures for reporting project status as needed.
5. Hold stakeholders accountable and provide executive visibility into project status. Prepare executive-level status reports and other communications.
6. Develop formal processes, playbooks, templates, and other artifacts as needed.
7. Program/Project Intake.  Oversee the process for initiating new projects and approving/planning project scope.
8. Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
9. Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
10. Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
11. Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
12. Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
13. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility:

Physical Demands:

This position is lightly active and requires 10% standing and walking. The employee may have to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly talk and listen. This position requires typing and sitting in a chair for up to 8 hours a day.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:

Occasional travel will be required up to 25%

Preferred Education and Experience:

1. 3+ years of experience in technology project execution or project management.
2. Experience with program or portfolio management. Candidate should have led or supported multiple projects and is familiar with Portfolio/Program/Project structures.
3. Familiarity with IT Operations and security technology related projects. Experience could be with hardware or software technologies, but candidate should have general understanding of business technology and the interaction between technology and processes. 
4. Experience using modern productivity and collaboration software, and ability to learn new applications and processes quickly.

1. Examples of relevant project management applications include Microsoft Project or Project Server, Atlassian Jira, Workfront, ServiceNow, Trello.
2. Other relevant applications/tools include Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, and collaboration platforms like Slack or Microsoft Teams.

7. Experience with project management and different project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) preferred.

1. Relevant certifications (PMP, Agile, Scrum, etc) will be a bonus, but not required.

9. Experience leading and facilitating meetings and working sessions, especially remotely. Experience working with global teams is preferred.
10. Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions.

Position Description:

Trek10 is looking for a Solutions Architect (SA) to work closely with our Account Executives (AE) to help define and sell the technical structure and scope of engagements. SAs serve as the very first technical voice to our prospects and must show off our thought leadership and deep technical knowledge in the AWS space. A Solutions Architect is expected to be able to ask the right questions in order to fully understand a client's pain points and be able to use those to generate and scope out an engagement. The responsibilities and qualifications of a Trek10 SA include but are not limited to:

• Work with Trek10 AEs to sell engagements by aligning multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders in a complex sales environment. 
• Become a technical expert on Trek10's different engagement types and be able to define which engagement type aligns to the prospect's needs (for example, an SA must be able to speak to both our professional services engagements, as well as the value of our CloudOps 24/7 managed services offering)
• Work closely with and oversee Trek10's marketing team to support the technical development of marketing content and go to market strategies
• Support the productization of Trek10's top engagements
• Ability to produce architecture diagrams and cost calculators to win mindshare at AWS and help facilitate a sale.
• Work closely with Trek10's partners to help facilitate a sale (e.g., AWS, Datadog, and channel partners)
• Work with Trek10 AE's to build Statements of Work (SOW) by breaking an engagement down into workstreams/tasks and defining assumptions, deliverables, and success criteria
• Lead estimation processes with Trek10 engineers to properly assess the work effort / cost of an engagement
• Support handoff of an engagement to Trek10's delivery team by:
  • Clarifying details of SOW based on information gathered in the pre-sales process
  • Introducing Trek10's delivery team to our clients
• Work with Trek10's Client Success Team and AE to provide guidance on future SOWs with a client
• Work with all different types of companies and industries -- from the Fortune 500 to fast growing startups

Requirements / Qualifications:

• At least an AWS Associate level certification (Professional and Specialty certs preferred)
• At least 5 years experience working in IT (enterprise systems preferred)
• At least 3 years experience working with AWS
• At least 1 year experience working in sales engineering / technical sales for an AWS technology or consulting partner (not required but strongly preferred) 
• Ability to speak confidently with Trek10 prospects and clients across some of the following areas (some training to gain expertise in all areas is expected):
  • AWS serverless architectures (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc.)
  • Infrastructure as code and DevOps best practices (CloudFormation, Terraform, Serverless Application Model, Serverless Framework, etc.)
  • Methodologies and best practices to replatform and re-architect applications for cloud native services (i.e., methodologies and best practices to refactor monoliths to microservices)
  • Enterprise workloads / networks (both on-premise and cloud-based), as well as migration to AWS (do you have experience with AWS's Migration Acceleration Program? Let us know!)
  • GraphQL / AppSync APIs
  • AWS operations and use of Datadog
  • Docker containers (AWS's ECS, EKS, and Fargate services)
