JavaScript React Developer with strong TypeScript experience required on a 6-month contract by our client in Edinburgh.
Your new role:

You'll be working with a small development team, who are undertaking a large-scale digital transformation of their external web applications. You'll need to have commercial experience with TypeScript and React.
You'll be joining the team to lead the frontend development and be expected to have expert knowledge of TypeScript. You'll play a key role in the initial requirements gathering, development, and delivery. You'll also be expected to manage stakeholders and have a proven track record of building modern frontend applications. A significant part of the role will be working closely with the in-house designers, developers, project managers, development managers, and stakeholders to meet the agreed deadline.

The Rate:

Our Tech


We develop for both Android and iOS and regularly design for both phone and tablet use cases. We pick between either doing native development (using Kotlin and Swift) or using Flutter depending on the needs of the project. We don’t expect you to know all three but you should have strong skills in at least one of these areas and a willingness to do both Flutter and native development.

Our iOS devs are currently adopting an MVVM architecture utilising UIKit/Combine (with the plan to move to SwiftUI next year). We’ve also been using Flutter since the initial launch and currently use the BLoC pattern across our projects.

We conduct unit testing across all our projects, code is always peer reviewed, and as a team we meet regularly to discuss new approaches and challenges.

We are looking for interns who will get involved in contributing to 2 key Unity products. During your time with us you may have the opportunity to develop different features, contribute to our tools, collaborate with engineers and have input that will impact our users across the world.

Full Stack Software Engineer (Python/Django) - remote or Edinburgh - an opportunity to join a growing startup.
They've built a remote-first team. The team are distributed but great at keeping in touch and staying connected. They are headquartered in Edinburgh (if you prefer office working!) but you can be based anywhere, as long as the time zone will work with daily team standups.
You'll be an experienced Full Stack Developer with solid Python/Django skills. They work with JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and React/Vue.js so it would also be advantageous if you have some experience with some of these technologies. They love to write clean and easy to read code and test as they build so it'd be great if you share this ethos!
The salary on offer is £40,000-60,000 and there are benefits on top. They have a very flexible approach to working and also offer a professional development budget so that you can keep your skills sharp!
