This Road mechanic/technician role performs preventive maintenance, perform diagnostics and make repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet varies by location but primarily include Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment. Our specialty lines locations may have a fleet of large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment.
Education or experience that prepares you for success:
• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (21 years of age & CDL license may be required in some locations)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:
• May need to provide mechanic’s tools of trade
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals

Overview:

 

The Facility Tech II will be knowledgeable to operate, adjusts and perform routine maintenance on general hospital equipment, physical plant equipment, refrigeration systems, HVAC-R systems, plumbing, electrical, generator, medical gas system, pneumatic tube system and other equipment in the hospital inventory. Opportunities for advancement include: building automation system training and practical application, formal course work in a related engineering, electronics or management field. He/she must have a minimum of one year (1) high pressure boiler operator experience or three years (3) related maintenance experience with the following license: Boiler, Plumber, Electrical or HVAC-R. The Facility Tech II assists with assigned maintenance work orders and communicates daily with the Facilities Supervisor. Qualifications:

  • Minimum Required Qualifications

    Education:High School Graduate

    Licensure:Arkansas State Boiler Operator’s License (within 6 months). Maintain a valid driver’s license.

    Experience:Minimum of three years (3) practical experience in (2) of the following fields: Industrial electrical systems up to 480 volts-3 phase; HVAC-R operation; boiler operation and maintenance; pump repair; electronics; generator operation; medical gas systems; pneumatic tube systems; security systems and in general institutional or industrial environments.

    Other Skills and Knowledge:Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Strong organizational skills. Self-directed requiring minimal supervision with proper instruction. Process oriented thinker, positive attitude, team player. Basic computer skills. Flexible work schedule.

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    Education:Courses in electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration desired. Courses/Training in HVAC-R, Building Automated Systems. Courses/Training in Generator Operation.

    Licensure:Either of the following licenses: Boiler, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC-R, Refrigeration.

    Experience:Experience in maintenance field including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC-R.

    Other Skills and Knowledge:Basic building maintenance knowledge.

    Ability to complete physical building maintenance duties requiring minimal supervision.

    Able to read plans and blue prints.

Position Summary:
+ This position is engaged in the activities of catching, identification, and movement of birds during flock housing, pullet and spent hen removal, toe/beak trimming, flock vaccinations, house cleanout & setup, sanitation, mortality disposal, and yard maintenance while performing the same. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Rotate tasks of catching birds to hold for vaccination and performing vaccination on birds (25%)
+ Rotate tasks of housing: Catch birds and scan wingband for identification and place in pen to be badged (use animal tag pliers to attach badge to wingweb), pen not badged, or trailer as instructed; catch birds in trailer and place in house, catch and rescan birds for identification and place in pen or cage as instructed. Continue process until all birds are housed. (25%)
+ Use wire cutters to remove wing and leg bands and badges from hens prior to live haul, catch spent hens and load into trailer for transport to live haul bay for catching and placing into modules, safely use forklift to remove empty modules from live haul trailer and load filled modules onto trailer, catch birds and operate trimmer by stepping on pedal to trim toenails and/or beaks, catch and properly euthanize pedigree birds and transport to incinerator and load incinerator for disposal (25%)
+ Remove used litter from houses, place new shavings per housing schedule, maintain litter of flocks in production (15%)
Other duties, responsibilities, and activities:
+ Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Such as: Use scalpel to obtain fat samples from euthanized bird for pesticide residue testing and spread shavings on trailer floor. Supervise and perform the activities of lead/workers engaged in other farm crew duties such as operate dump truck and auger for litter removal from Cages/FCR areas, sanitation in any area, dispose of mortality and trash, maintain equipment by checking fluid levels, filters, tire pressure, and clean/disinfect to remove debris, and perform steps to control vegetation. (10%)
Biosecurity/Animal Welfare Requirements:
+ The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
+ Physical: Must use safe lifting techniques. Must regularly bend/stoop to catch and carry birds weighing up to 18 pounds per hand and lift/carry catch frames and shavings bundles weighing up to 12 pounds, move mortality weighing up to 35 pounds, lift/carry gas-powered blower weighing 25 pounds, and lift/carry weedeater weighing 20 pounds and occasionally push/pull high pressure sprayer weighing up to 90 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand on a concrete floor; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
+ Tools and Equipment: Requires use of hand tools such as brooms, shovels, wire cutters, vaccination gun, stick needle, eye drop bottle, animal tag pliers, safety knife; power tools such as drill and gas-powered back-pack blower; equipment such as forklift, dump truck, skid-steer, tractor with snow plow attachment and/or trailer with gas-powered sprayer, pallet jack, flatbed truck, lawn mover and weedeater.
+ Environment: Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and also in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments.
+ Personal Protective Equipment Required: Safety goggles and/or glasses, chemical gloves, waterproof apron, and rubber boots are required. Must wear company provided facial covering. Hearing protection required while mowing/weedeating, follow manufacturer PPE recommendations for herbicides.
+ Chemicals Commonly Used: Disinfectants, vaccines, herbicides, and vehicle fluids.
+ Safety: Team member is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures. These include but are not limited to Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, LOTO and Personal Protective Equipment. Team member is expected to identify, address and mitigate safety related risks.
+ During the current Pandemic (2020), all Team Members will be required to wear company issued facial coverings. Position Summary:
+ This position is engaged in the activities of catching, identification, and movement of birds during flock housing, pullet and spent hen removal, toe/beak trimming, flock vaccinations, house cleanout & setup, sanitation, mortality disposal, and yard maintenance while performing the same. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Rotate tasks of catching birds to hold for vaccination and performing vaccination on birds (25%)
+ Rotate tasks of housing: Catch birds and scan wingband for identification and place in pen to be badged (use animal tag pliers to attach badge to wingweb), pen not badged, or trailer as instructed; catch birds in trailer and place in house, catch and rescan birds for identification and place in pen or cage as instructed. Continue process until all birds are housed. (25%)
+ Use wire cutters to remove wing and leg bands and badges from hens prior to live haul, catch spent hens and load into trailer for transport to live haul bay for catching and placing into modules, safely use forklift to remove empty modules from live haul trailer and load filled modules onto trailer, catch birds and operate trimmer by stepping on pedal to trim toenails and/or beaks, catch and properly euthanize pedigree birds and transport to incinerator and load incinerator for disposal (25%)
+ Remove used litter from houses, place new shavings per housing schedule, maintain litter of flocks in production (15%)
Other duties, responsibilities, and activities:
+ Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Such as: Use scalpel to obtain fat samples from euthanized bird for pesticide residue testing and spread shavings on trailer floor. Supervise and perform the activities of lead/workers engaged in other farm crew duties such as operate dump truck and auger for litter removal from Cages/FCR areas, sanitation in any area, dispose of mortality and trash, maintain equipment by checking fluid levels, filters, tire pressure, and clean/disinfect to remove debris, and perform steps to control vegetation. (10%)
Biosecurity/Animal Welfare Requirements:
+ The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
+ Physical: Must use safe lifting techniques. Must regularly bend/stoop to catch and carry birds weighing up to 18 pounds per hand and lift/carry catch frames and shavings bundles weighing up to 12 pounds, move mortality weighing up to 35 pounds, lift/carry gas-powered blower weighing 25 pounds, and lift/carry weedeater weighing 20 pounds and occasionally push/pull high pressure sprayer weighing up to 90 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand on a concrete floor; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
+ Tools and Equipment: Requires use of hand tools such as brooms, shovels, wire cutters, vaccination gun, stick needle, eye drop bottle, animal tag pliers, safety knife; power tools such as drill and gas-powered back-pack blower; equipment such as forklift, dump truck, skid-steer, tractor with snow plow attachment and/or trailer with gas-powered sprayer, pallet jack, flatbed truck, lawn mover and weedeater.
+ Environment: Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and also in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments.
+ Personal Protective Equipment Required: Safety goggles and/or glasses, chemical gloves, waterproof apron, and rubber boots are required. Must wear company provided facial covering. Hearing protection required while mowing/weedeating, follow manufacturer PPE recommendations for herbicides.
+ Chemicals Commonly Used: Disinfectants, vaccines, herbicides, and vehicle fluids.
+ Safety: Team member is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures. These include but are not limited to Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, LOTO and Personal Protective Equipment. Team member is expected to identify, address and mitigate safety related risks.
+ During the current Pandemic (2020), all Team Members will be required to wear company issued facial coverings. Training will be provided to each Team Member specific to their job and their facility location in addition to signing an acknowledgement form they understand these expectations. It is considered an essential function of each job for a Team Member to wear the company issued facial coverings. If a Team Member indicates they will not wear the mask, they will not be considered for the position in which they are applying or any position that requires the facial covering. This is a Full Time Nights Respiratory Therapist position with Mercy Rogers. 

 

Overview:

 

As a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) you must have an excellent knowledge of all Respiratory Care procedures and modalities including Critical Care and Blood Gas analysis. As a Respiratory Therapist the knowledge base should be sufficient to provide consultation on respiratory care to therapists and other health care providers.


Qualifications:

 

Education: Graduate from an approved AMA Respiratory Program.
Licensure: Must be licensed by the State of Arkansas to practice Respiratory Care (LRCP)
Experience: Must have a working knowledge of Respiratory Care including Ventilator Management and Blood Gas Analysis
Certifications: Must be eligible to take or have passed the Registration (RRT) exam given by the NBRC. Must be certified by the American Heart Association to provide CPR.
Other: Must be able to work with computers in a health care environment
Preferred Education: Bachelor Degree
Preferred Experience: Previous experience working in Respiratory Care in the hospital environment
Preferred Certifications: PALS ACLS NRP
Preferred Other: Advanced Computer Skills Ability to learn and work with computerized equipment and patient care applications.
