Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Transitional Care, Unit provides assistance with nursing care of patients as needed under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Nursing care is provided in accordance with the stated philosophy and standards established by the Nursing Services Department and regulatory agencies. The Patient Care Technician is accountable for the aspects of nursing care they are directed to provide within their scope of practice.
Minimum Qualifications
§ Education
o High school diploma or equivalent required.
o Completion of a certified nursing assistant course required.
§ Experience
o Minimum of one year acute care experience or medical/surgical clinical experience preferred.
§ Licensure and/or Certification
o BLS healthcare provider required.
o Certified Nursing Assistant achieved within 3 months required.
§ Skills
o Ability to take vitals.
o Communication skills.
o Interpersonal skills.
o Computer skills.
o Ability to maintain confidential information.
o Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
o Excellent customer service skills.

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Job Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, C.N.A. provides for the care of residents within scope of training, assigned duties, and within scope of NDHC policies and procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

MA C.N.A. Certification required. Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Must be able to work all scheduled hours regardless of bad weather. Position requires flexibility in daily schedule to accommodate needs of residents. 1-3 years experience as a C.N.A. preferred, but not required.
*Sign-On Bonus: $500 paid at 3-months and 6-months from hire date. Must maintain regular part time or full time employment status to receive bonus.

We are seeking multiple Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team! You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high quality patient care. Some require the extra care and support which is why we are in need of more qualified CNA’s to join our team and help.
If you’re looking to work, we’re hiring on an immediate basis. Proper PPE equipment will be supplied for all working situations.
