Job Summary:

Our Fleet Operations Specialists ensure smooth running of supply and operations to maximise the utilisation of our fleet. Reporting into our Inventory Manager, our Fleet Operations Specialist will build and develop new initiatives, streamline new processes that ensure we are increasing the number of vehicles available for our subscribers. They will also maintain and enhance operational relationships with new and existing suppliers as well as our Fleet Management Company (FMC) to enable a quality product to reach our customer’s driveways.

We are looking for someone with the ability to work collaboratively and efficiently to become part of a dynamic, fast paced, data driven business that will transform automotive retailing in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the fleet purchasing team and suppliers to ensure all inbound cars are managed, ensuring we capture all the necessary information on data sheets from order, delivery timescales, arrivals to listings.
• Supporting the post purchase process to ensure all documentation and key vehicle information is received (such as invoices & V5 management) and processed internally.
• Streamlining processes & ensuring we optimise the way we manage our inbound fleet processes.
• Proactively reviewing the Cazoo fleet to ensure all vehicles are accounted for.
• Be a key part of the team managing the de-fleeting of existing managed fleet vehicles.
• Work alongside the fleet purchasing and finance teams to ensure we can scale in volumes & develop a model which allows us to reconcile and track all purchases from placing an order to paying for the car
• Own the recharging of fleet suppliers for damaged deliveries & auditing supplier invoices
• Managing the relationship with the fleet partner’s operational team.
• Working closely with the purchasing team and updating business & Supply forecasts
• Supporting other teams internally providing any information required relating to historic purchases such as service history records.

Essentials

• Data driven - understand how to manipulate & interpret data 
• Industry experience would be preferable, ideally you'll have worked in fleet purchasing.
• You'll understand the processes involved in fleet acquisition and know your way around an inventory
• Organised & experience managing /building processes
• Be able to communicate in an excellent manner, and ensure all teams have visibility over the fleet
• Capable of handling difficult conversations
• Commercially focused
