The Northamptonshire Centre for Oncology would like to hear from HCPC registered radiographers and students due to qualify who are ready to join our team of radiographer working in rotational posts across treatment and pre-treatment.
All of our megavoltage treatments are now delivered on Varian TrueBeam fully matched machines complete with Brainlab ExacTrac imaging and ‘6 degrees of freedom’ robotic couches. In addition we have a Gulmay superficial/ Orthovoltage unit and Flexitron brachytherapy unit. Our Pre Treatment team use a Siemens CT with Varian gating system and Prosoma.
The department provides a supportive environment to actively encourage staff in their CPD activities and role development.

URGENT REQUIREMENT - 2x Desktop Engineer – 3 -6 months fixed contract with potential for extension
Salary in the region of £24,000 pro rata

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 experienced desktop engineers to assist with local and remote assistance during the image deployment and desktop deployment for a large client. The contracts will be initially for 3 months at a fixed address in Milton Keynes. Following this, there will be an option of an additional 3 months at a different location.
The candidates will be trained extensively on-site with client specific elements and will then be expected to carry out the deployments with minimal supervision. There will be a requirement to support additional engineers downstream as the project develops.
The candidates will be expected to configure and deploy of approx. 1000 new desktops, Imaging of Windows 10 PC’s. Laptop, Desktops and Tablets (images will be supplied on a USB stick) and provide support for the end-user and solution of the problem on PC’s.
This will be a Monday – Friday role, working 40 hours per week.

As this is a mobile role covering a number of locations across the East Midlands, the successful applicant will be eligible for a company car or car allowance. We have a number of sites across the Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Kettering, Mansfield, Doncaster, Sheffield, Barnsley and Birmingham area.
