MINIMUM BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

Experience:

The Role

Responsible for sales account development within an established geographic territory for a complex suite of services and robust product sets to drive sales, increase brand awareness, and grow a specific territory.

The Main Responsibilities

Required:

  • Proven experience in hunting, prospecting, and new account development.

  • Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as ability in selling to the close.

  • Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.

Summary

Summary

The Inside Sales Representative provides effective customer service for all internal and external customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for communicating with customers via phone, email, fax, etc.
  • Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer service orders, status, and product knowledge request
  • Processes customer orders, changes, and returns
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations
  • Works closely with the Operations Supervisor as directed
  • Reviews and maintains customer database to track information on account information, statuses, orders, and lead times
  • Provides timely feedback regarding service failures or customer concerns
  • Works closely with Sales Representatives on quotes, status of orders etc.
  • Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe conditions or practice to your supervisor
  • Performs other duties as directed

  • 2 + years of Customer Service experience in the manufacturing or construction industry

Principal Duties and Responsibilities 
 
•Support outside sales and branch management personnel to grow sales and profitability. 
•Provide excellent customer service to customers by answering customer inquiries, providing quotes, and processing orders. 
•Effectively communicate with customers through face-to-face, telephone, and email interaction. 
•Build customer relationships through timely and excellent customer service. 
•Acquire and present product knowledge to be able to help customers with inquiries or issues regarding industrial, safety, or steel products. 
•Help to develop sales opportunities. 
•Work with suppliers to source products, provide quotes to customers, and expedite orders. 
•Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. 
•Participate in ongoing educational opportunities. 
  
Qualifications
