Job Description

Qualifications
  • Act as a role model for Team Managers, Operators and colleagues by conveying a professional focus at all times
  •  To manage and coordinate the ARC operation and Team Managers to ensure that the operation meets all agreed customer, regulatory, safety, and performance standards, and meets the business expectations & measurements
  •  To agree, document and implement appropriate, resilient and effective operating procedures in line with business expectations.

Job Description

Managing high levels of incoming and outgoing telephone calls to both clients and branches. Utilise software to ensure the required monitoring and compliance standards are met. Work as part of a monitoring team liaising with different branches nationally. Follow correct procedures for incident reporting and real time monitoring. The team

A vacancy has arisen to join our team on a permanent basis, at our client’s prestigious new office in Belfast city centre.

Job Description

Mitie has a great opportunity for a number of Relief Security Support Officers to join the Northern Ireland Branch supporting some major clients in the Belfast and Greater Belfast area.

Relief Security Support Officers must be available to cover various shift patterns as well as being flexible in their approach to working locations and potential changes to working patterns. The pay rate varies from £8.72 to £9.70 per hour.

Main Duties

  • The relief security officer will demonstrate their character as determined, trustworthy, attentive and approachable at all times when welcoming clients and customers – ensuring ID badges are created, allocated and collected when appropriate.
  • As the first point of contact for to all customers and clients, the Security Officers must have geographically aware of their local surroundings.
  • Travel to various corporate client sites to cover sickness, holiday and provide support to the core team when required.
  • Must be able to man the phones, emails, IT systems, CCTV and Alarms, Doors and Car park if need be.
  • The relief security officer must spot and stop all suspicious sightings or potential criminal activity and retain full control until the arrival of emergency services.
  • Report to the Security Operations Manager – they must record, report and escalate all sightings and arrests on a regular basis.
Qualifications

Person Specification

  • The relief security officer will need to be a team player with an enthusiastic attitude.
  • The relief security officer should be able to work on own initiative.
  • Corporate Security experience is essential
  • Ability to travel to various sites using own transport
  • Flexible Approach to work to suit the business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
  • It is important the Security Officer is calm under pressure.
  • Understand the Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Door Supervision or Security Guarding License essential.
  • Own transport and a Full UK Driving licence is required

Job Description

A vacancy has arisen to join our team on a permanent basis, at our client’s prestigious new office in Belfast city centre.
The successful candidate will be proactive and provide professional, customer focused day-to-day 'hands on’ Office Administration’ support of the Belfast office and the Workplace Office Manager in the areas of: service solutions (mail, loading bay, reprographics, records management, stationery).  Working closely with our approved partners in the operation and administration of day-to-day workplace services.

The operative is primarily to ensure the smooth running of Mitie managed areas of the loading bay and mail room provided on site at our client’s prestigious office in Belfast city centre. 

The Loading Bay operative is to carry out the effective and efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing mail and courier items according to the site procedure manual.  The employee must have a diligent approach to ensure complete audit trail is maintained, excellent customer communication skills, must be organised and have a high level of attention to detail. 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all incoming / outgoing packages for Mitie managed areas

Responsible for use and safe management of mail x ray machine (training to be provided)

Responsible for Health & Safety of Mitie managed areas

Inform line management of any situations which could impact on the business immediately

Produce data as requested

Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times

Ensuring all areas of required duties are risk assessed in line with Health & Safety policies

Duties:•    

To provide a professional, friendly and helpful customer focused service to our clients each daycess all incoming mail items using the x ray machine

Stock management, house keeping of work areas and ordering paper, Xerox consumables and stationery
Replenish cupboards with stationery and photocopier paper, loading paper and toner into photocopier


Supporting MFD 1st and 2nd line fixes and requesting engineer call outs 

Ensure that all necessary steps are taken to identify recipients of courier parcels and enter them on the PinPoint system for the mailroom to distribute

Log all incoming Royal mail Special Deliveries onto the PDA system

Ensure that a record of who has signed for the PDA handhelds is kept up to date

To answer any queries regarding incoming/ outgoing courier items, and to forward any problems to the IMS Manager if they cannot be resolved immediately

Inform mailroom of urgent parcels that need immediate delivery

Ensure that the clear desk policy is adhered to

Any bulky items received are to be swiftly dealt with and redirected to the correct department with minimum delay

Ensure that all courier data is captured on PDA and run daily end of day reports to check for outstanding items

Keep the Loading Bay in good order in line with H&S procedures

Any other ad hoc duties in relation to the loading bay

Qualifications

Decision Making:

  • Be able to deal with and solve any immediate operational challenges with sound judgement and excellent prioritisation skills.

The role

We are looking for an ambitious and conscientious Associate from NQ level upwardsto join us in Belfast.  A detailed working knowledge of civil litigation and advocacy in both the County Court and the High Court is required for this role and Chancery and Commercial Court experience would be an advantage either from your training contract or in your post qualification experience.  We can offer you a varied commercial litigation caseload with a particular focus on professional negligence, financial services and real estate litigation. You will have opportunity for significant levels of client contact and to build meaningful and rewarding relationships as a result.

You will be part of a vibrant, local litigation team with plans to develop - with the support of a large UK-wide infrastructure behind you.
