The Cash Application Analyst will join our global Finance Team and report to the Revenue Accounting Manager. This role will primarily be responsible for accurately and efficiently recording incoming cash payments, investigating unidentified cash transactions, and assisting with partner related inquires.

A Look Inside the Job:

  • Record daily cash transactions from multiple bank accounts and/or currencies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve partner inquiries related to account statements and/or payment application
  • Investigate reporting discrepancies and communicate issues effectively and in a timely manner
  • Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks and analysis as required
  • Assist with annual and quarterly audit selections
  • Adhere to SOX guidelines and escalate issues timely

About You:

  • BS in Accounting
  • 2+ years in accounts receivable and/or cash applications & customer service experience
  • Experience with working in a complex ERP system; NetSuite is preferred
  • Tech savvy and MS Excel super user (candidate must be comfortable working with and analyzing large datasets)
  • Strong understanding of internal processes and public company control environments
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented critical thinker capable of understanding and solving problems
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Strong systems orientation with a desire to drive process automation, using financial systems and tools

  • Update and maintain the sports remotes calendar for tracking technical equipment
  • Maintain documentation for NBC Sport’s remotes LAN and WAN connectivity
  • Manage purchasing equipment for remote IT operations
  • Provide support for NBC Sports owned laptop/desktops and well as handheld mobile devices used on and during remote events
  • Identify and implement new technology initiatives that result in qualitative, operational and financial opportunities
  • Work closely with Broadcast Engineering, Digital and Corporate Security teams to facilitate the operations and convergence of broadcast and IT technologies
  • Travel to sports remotes to provide IT support, particularly in preparation for and during the months in which remote sporting events take place

The Cash Application Analyst will join our global Finance Team and report to the Revenue Accounting Manager. This role will primarily be responsible for accurately and efficiently recording incoming cash payments, investigating unidentified cash transactions, and assisting with partner related inquires.

A Look Inside the Job:

  • Record daily cash transactions from multiple bank accounts and/or currencies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve partner inquiries related to account statements and/or payment application
  • Investigate reporting discrepancies and communicate issues effectively and in a timely manner
  • Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks and analysis as required
  • Assist with annual and quarterly audit selections
  • Adhere to SOX guidelines and escalate issues timely

About You:

  • BS in Accounting
  • 2+ years in accounts receivable and/or cash applications & customer service experience
  • Experience with working in a complex ERP system; NetSuite is preferred
  • Tech savvy and MS Excel super user (candidate must be comfortable working with and analyzing large datasets)
  • Strong understanding of internal processes and public company control environments
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented critical thinker capable of understanding and solving problems
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Strong systems orientation with a desire to drive process automation, using financial systems and tools
