We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic copywriter, who’s comfortable juggling a varied workload. From research and recommendations, through to content creation, optimisation and editing, you’ll work with a range of clients across different industries - always aiming to boost their visibility and authority to their target audience.
Your passion for creating useful content should reach beyond the writing process itself, as you track trends, algorithm shifts, and opportunities to provide content that users are really looking for.
Working closely with the multidisciplinary digital marketing team, you will be encouraged to identify new opportunities to support our clients’ across all digital channels.
Conducting Keyword Research for new and existing clients, to help target content for maximum visibility.
Crafting search-optimised and user-friendly Page Titles, Meta Descriptions and Category Page copy.
Working through an agreed Content Calendar on a client's behalf, to produce thoroughly researched, well-written, search-optimised webpages, blog articles and social campaigns.
Amending and optimising content written by clients and external sources, to improve readability and relevance for target keywords.
Providing commentary for all optimisations, to explain the process and advise on further changes.
Conducting Keyword Gap Analysis and Competitor Review, to produce a clear calendar of content recommendations.
Uploading and publishing web-based content across a variety of content management systems - including Drupal, Umbraco, Magento, Wordpress and Hubspot.
Carefully tracking progress, along with attending regular catch ups with internal teams and clients.
Excellent copywriting skills, including grammatical accuracy and reader-friendly writing style.
Working knowledge of SEO.
Creative ability to translate numerical research and search volumes into tangible content ideas.
Confidence using a variety of CMS.
Good organisational and communication skills, to support collaborative working, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
Confidence using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush and other SEO tools.
Excellent attention to detail that ensures high quality standards of execution.
Enthusiasm to develop digital knowledge.
