We are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with pupils across Key Stage 1 and 2 with autism and associated learning difficulties ASAP. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs, following EHCP/IEP plans and attending formal meetings in relation to pupils.

Main Duties:

  • Following individual plans set for pupils
  • Building a positive rapport with students
  • Planning and differentiating class work for pupils
  • Supporting pupils on a one to one basis
  • Working alongside other members of staff; class teacher, SENCO etc
  • Assisting in weaker areas, e.g. speech and language, reading, spelling, numeracy, handwriting/presentation etc
