Job Summary

Provide electrical support in the Processing facilities working as a team member to make sure that food products are processed according to quality specifications and customer needs. Essential Functions

Ability to perform functions in a food processing facility that ultimately produce products for Customers:

• Installs electrical wiring systems to support processing equipment.
• Work with outside electrical contractors as assigned.
• Troubleshoots diagnoses and corrects electrical problems and failures.
• Install and maintain electrical equipment, both alternating and direct current.
• Perform mechanical work on electrical equipment.
• Work to meet current electrical codes and company policies and practices.
• Select proper equipment as required.
• Ability to read electrical and related blueprints.
• Perform mathematics to determine proper components and installation requirements.
• Direct work and instruct other electricians, helpers and apprentices.
• Operate production and packaging equipment to check work as required.
• Comply with all safety regulations, attend safety meetings and follow all plant and safety rules
• Follow all good manufacturing practices as set up by the company policy.
• Ability to work on various processing machines and equipment as required.
