Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Education & Experience

This role will need a person who can create momentum through strategy projects and work on tight timelines to deliver final reports and presentations. This person will have excellent presentation building skills and be able to both gather data inputs as well as interpret other teams’ reports to better support Mobile Enhancement go-to-market strategy.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MARKETING STRATEGY COORDINATOR:

 

  • Analyze multiple data sources, collaborate with other sales and market teams, and synthesize all inputs to create executive level strategy presentations
  • Give recommendations for a course of action to combat the problems the analysis reveals
  • Project manage contributors, including executives, to create strategy presentation timelines & deliverables
  • Manage weekly go-to-market launch meetings

Position Summary

The Nature Conservancy (TNC) has shown that natural climate solutions (NCS)—sustainably managing, restoring and protecting forests and other lands—can provide up to a third of the solution to climate change by 2030. We have raised awareness of these solutions and identified the countries and types of actions that have the greatest carbon-abatement potential.

As public concern about climate change drives corporate and other net-zero commitments, interest in carbon markets is growing exponentially, and in particular how such markets can support the scaling of NCS. Around the world, we are responding directly to dozens of leading companies, all of whom are committed to reaching their net-zero commitments and require voluntary and compliance carbon market participation to achieve their commitments.

The Global Carbon Markets Director provides strategic leadership to deliver a well-coordinated and impactful approach across TNC to the carbon marketplace. The Director serves as a Conservancy lead for establishing a “Center for Carbon Excellence”, coordinating and leveraging internal expertise in science, corporate engagement, finance, public policy, and on-the ground conservation to direct private capital towards NCS projects that deliver high-quality, credible offsets around the world. The Director is responsible for coordinating a One Conservancy approach to facilitating new carbon market opportunities to drive investments in climate action. The Director reports to the Director, Natural Climate Solutions and is a direct line report to the global climate change team.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree and 15 years’ experience in conservation practice or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in carbon finance and accounting.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and directing complex or multiple carbon offset projects of strategic importance, including managing finances, supervising multidisciplinary professionals and coordinating the work of partners while meeting deadlines.  
  • Supervisory experience, including motivating, leading, setting objectives and managing performance.

  • Experience conceiving and implementing strategic and creative initiatives involving multiple countries.
  • Experience negotiating and influencing, developing and implementing conservation policy and plans at the division and/or global/international level.

Desired Qualifications

  • Multi- lingual and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
  • Master’s degree.   
  • Experience developing practical applications of scientific concepts and technical innovations for conservation purposes.
  • Work in the international arena.
  • Knowledge of politics and society with respect to environmental affairs. 
  • Communicating clearly via written, spoken, and graphical means in English and other relevant languages.
  • Demonstrated leadership and visionary qualities and ability to work effectively with and through others in a decentralized and geographically dispersed organization.
  • Politically savvy.

Som marketingpraktikant tilknyttes du et kundeteam i Wavemaker, hvor vi arbejder med strategi, målsætninger, medieplanlægning og eksekvering. Du vil være med fra vi modtager et kundebrief, til udarbejdelse af mediestrategi hvilket involverer intern briefing på tværs af mediekanaler, til booking af kampagner, monitorering samt evaluering.

For at kunne arbejde med mediestrategi og kunne eksekvere på disse, handler en del af jobbet om at sætte sig ind i nye systemer, mediemarkedet, forbrugertrends samt kundens behov og ambitioner, og det forventes at du nysgerrigt og selvstændigt tilgår opgaver, for at finde frem til viden og nye løsninger. Af videnskilder har vi adgang til en enorm mængde data gennem diverse systemer, vi har gode mediekontakter og masser af dygtige kollegaer, som du forventes at gøre brug af og bidrage til i planlægningsprocessen.

Du får en alsidig hverdag, med en bred palette af opgaver, og med tiden få mulighed for, at sætte dit fingeraftryk på det indholdsmæssige i dine arbejdsopgaver.

Summary



The Strategy & Data Director enables Freeman to dramatically improve value creation from Live Brand Experiences by combining strategy, data and design practices into a discipline that enhances the rigor, insights and learning that support our ability to generate growth and better results for our clients. Leads multiple projects for design and delivery of the new metrics solutions of Freeman.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities



+ Leads the development and commercialization of the new metrics solutions of Freeman with a start-up approach.

+ Leads strategic engagements with multiple clients and multiple business units within individual projects.

+ Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams and external parties on projects ranging from developing specific solutions.

+ Maintains a passion for developing a rich and intimate understanding of our clients’ business and needs.

+ Develops an informed and provocative healthcare point of view that can be utilized throughout the organization and used in outward marketing efforts.

+ Strives to constantly stay at the forefront of the marketing field.

+ Provides research and analysis of event and experience marketing programs along with recommendations based on business analysis.

+ Participates in new business development efforts as needed.

+ Executes duties and assignments as directed in compliance with corporate guidelines and objectives.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.


Education & Experience



+ Bachelor’s degree (B.A.). MBA/MFA preferred

+ 5+ years of related work experience

+ Experience in leading and driving strategy projects with a systems thinking/transdisciplinary perspective

+ Experience in designing and delivering ideation sessions

+ Experience in presenting to a wide range of audiences

+ Experience with digital and/or data

+ Preferred experience with both large enterprises and startups

+ Event and experience marketing background preferred, but not required
