Digital Media Producer
£31,000pa
Central London
The RHS is hiring a Digital Media Producer to help produce an exciting year of video content for the society.
With people stuck at home due to the pandemic, gardening has been proven to bring positive health benefits, and the RHS is committed to get the nation growing – no matter what their circumstances.
Our Grow at Home provides useful advice to gardeners, while our video garden tours display the very best that the RHS Gardens have to offer – at a time when many people are unable to reach us.
This year sees the launch of our fifth garden, RHS Bridgewater, alongside RHS Hilltop – The Home of Gardening Science at Wisley. Both openings will need video content to both promote and accompany the launches.
Last year we produced the first Virtual Chelsea Flower Show. This year we plan to host the show in September, which will require tight turnarounds on films from the show, alongside a much larger digital presence in May.
We are also producing a number of dedicated series aimed at growing our YouTube channel, targeting different audiences and growing our core viewership. The successful applicant will be assisting with the production of all of this content, including leading your own projects within this and generating your own ideas.
