Due to an increasing workload, we are looking to recruit environmental and sustainability consultants at Consultant or senior consultant level. This can be a home-based position aligned to one of offices highlighted above. You will join our national EIA team located across the UK supporting our key clients including The Environment Agency, HS2 Ltd, Network Rail, Southern Water, Defence Infrastructure Organisation, Highways England and Local Authorities., work closely with clients and help develop new areas of business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Project management, budget control and leading projects
• You will work collaboratively supporting or leading a range of engineering and technical specialists on a broad range of Environmental Impact Assessments and related deliverables Co-ordinate UK EIA projects, including liaising with the multi-disciplinary teams and statutory authorities
• Coordinate the production of Environmental Statements and additional reports required throughout the planning process
• Supporting the team in the delivery of significant and complex projects
• Liaise with relevant clients and stakeholders
• Support the team in developing innovative ideas to enhance the outcome for the client

What we’re looking for:

• Degree or Master’s qualification in EIA and / or town planning;
• Chartered status (RTPI, IEMA) or working towards chartership;
• Strong technical ability with experience in the management and delivery of EIA;
• Experience of Strategic Environmental Assessment and Sustainability Appraisal;
• In depth practical working knowledge of the UK planning system and consenting process;
• Demonstrable experience working with multi-disciplinary teams;
• Be highly self-motivated, possessing strong enthusiasm and commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes;
