The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and at least two years of relevant experience. Other requirements include knowledge of sanitary food handling techniques and ability to pass a food handler’s exam; a keen sense for organization; ability to take notes and maintain written documentation; ability to operate a pallet jack; an appreciation for diversity; and ability to be physically mobile, stand for long periods of time, and regularly lift up to 50 lbs. - Assist in the enterprise images’ architecture, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's desktop infrastructure environments including installation, upgrades, software deployment, patching, and high-level troubleshooting.
- Develop and document architectural design for endpoint hardware (both physical and virtual) as well as operating systems configurations and management capabilities.
- Perform secure baseline image creation and tailoring of Windows operating system images for specific hardware configurations from a common core baseline.
- Conduct Windows 10 Readiness and Compatibility Assessment of hardware, software, and infrastructure environment.
- Support application packaging, deployments, documentation, and release control in an Enterprise environment.
- Writes documentation, including project plans, backup plans, business continuance, installation procedures, and troubleshooting tips. Creates diagrams, including technical topology.
- Develop Windows 10 Base Image, crafting the operating system and GPO settings so that they integrate with all enterprise hardware and software.
- Create / maintain custom task sequences and other custom code for front-end image management
- Validate that each image meets the customers’ supplied requirements and internal quality guidelines
- Provide desktop management automation through scripting to deliver consistent and predictable services
- Ensure that the images load without errors and completely in all supported scenarios (e.g. Vendor staging, DMA, bare metal re-image, USB Flash Drive, USB Drive, Network, etc.)
- Work in close relation with the Release Manager and Application Packagers.
- Maintain documentation of their activities and having checklists for the various tasks in their respective area of responsibility.
- Open and follow-up on incidents with the hardware vendors in the event of a problem relating to A supported hardware platform
- Keep abreast of changes occurring in the client environment that could have an impact on deliverables.
- Ensure that the drivers and UEFI/BIOS levels and configurations are certified.
- Conduct sanity testing of images before it is handed out for QA testing.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and 8 - 12 years of related experience, including at least 7 years specializing in Windows desktop, server and enterprise technologies.
Working understanding of Active Directory including Kerberos, GPO, LDAP, and basic Forest/Domain design/deployment.
Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory to include implementation of group policy objects (GPOs).
Proficient in scripting, PowerShell a must.
Experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft Windows security technologies
Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. Ability to create packages, deployments, task sequences, and site configuration and troubleshooting.
Familiar with Microsoft Windows OSD (Operating System Deployment) principles and implementation including Sysprep, Windows Image Format (WIM), Unattended automation, User State Migration Tool (USMT), Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE), and Preboot Execution Environment (PXE).
Microsoft Windows 7 through Windows 10 operating systems build-out, imaging and deployment, backup & restore, patching, hardware management, resource management and allocation, troubleshooting, vendor management, critical incident response.
Windows Servers: 2012 R2, 2016 (physical and VM) experience highly desired.

Founded in 1987, Washington Regional Transplant Community (WRTC) is the federally designated, non-profit organ procurement organization (OPO) serving the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. As one of 58 OPOs nationwide, WRTC works collaboratively with its 44 hospital partners and 6 transplant centers to facilitate organ, eye and tissue donation. We are currently looking for a Clinical Recovery Coordinator to join our team.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Recovery Coordinator, (CRC) is responsible for the duties related to the evaluation, allocation, and surgical recovery of organs and tissues for transplantation, medical research and medical education. Clinical responsibilities include donor evaluation and clinical management, organ evaluation and allocation and the surgical recovery and preservation of donated organs and tissue. In addition, the CRC will present the option of donation to the legal next-of-kin in a compassionate manner. Specific non-clinical responsibilities include working with WRTC's Hospital Development and Public Affairs to help further the strategic plan of these departments related to donation activities in our area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum prerequisites are a degree in the biological sciences, physician's assistant, nursing, paramedicine, allied health, or related work experience in transplantation and/or organ and tissue procurement.
SKILLS:
Must be a proactive team player dedicated to enhancing the quality and availability of donated tissue for transplantation and research. Must have strong verbal and written communication abilities and possess strong organizational skills. Must be able to clearly read, write, speak and understand English. Must be compassionate, conscientious, ethical, and possess strong interpersonal skills that contribute to working with families of potential donors as well as a variety of medical professionals. Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. The position requires computer literacy using PC applications in a Microsoft Windows based environment and demonstrated competency in the use of Microsoft Office software programs. It also requires the ability to access, use and efficiently navigate the Internet and demonstrated capability of learning other data base programs.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The position requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate telephones and computers; an ability to speak clearly in order to accurately convey information in person or by telephone; an ability to hear and understand speech both over the phone and in person. Additionally, the position requires vision correctable to 20/20 in order to read patient charts; and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as audio-visual equipment and educational displays.
