Summary:
The Production Supervisor is the leader of a specific group in the given business line, on the shift.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor the key indicators (KPI) defined by the given group production, quality, efficiency and other business line within its competence
• Escalate problems (downtime, IT / technical problems, material shortages, etc.) towards the shift manager and functional areas
• Keep up-to-date reporting of the results of the group under its responsibility
• Monitor, evaluate the performance of employees and, if necessary, request training
• Proper management of raw materials, as little waste and downtime as possible,
• Introduction of new products, processes, while ensuring proper documentation of process is maintained
• Provides training to team members and team developers which includes training on cell processes and stations, manufacturing system, white board, 5S, and Kronos
• Provides meaningful and timely feedback on employee's performance including completing and conducting annual performance appraisals and developing training plans
• Resolves day-to-day production and team issues, including terminations, counseling, suspensions, time card approval, manpower tracking, and conflict resolution
• Identifies and develops qualified replacements
• Setting continuous improvement goals for all employees
• Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience/education will be considered
• 2-3 years of work-related experience required in relevant field including at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite
• Prior experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, or repairing technology preferred
