Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity within Unit4 for an Account Executive – New business to join our successful, growing and highly motivated sales team. In this senior role, you'll be tasked with selling our range of Unit4 ERP, HCM and FP&A into the Public Sector Vertical.

  • Reporting directly to the Public Sector Sales Director, your role as a Account Executive will be to develop a new business sales plan and strategy to win new license sales revenue in line with specific sales targets, taking ownership of specific sub-vertical
  • You will take a leading role and be actively involved in company activities, such as regular sales meetings, forecasting, the achievement of annual targets etc
  • You are actively involved in company activities, such as regular sales meetings, to keep in touch with colleagues and clients.
  • You work closely with management, the solution consulting team, operations, partners and clients to ensure that effective proposals and plans are presented to customers and partners.
  • You highlight business benefits that will be achieved by investing in our solutions.
  • Furthermore, you keep yourself up-to-date with all relevant technologies used by Unit4 and changes in the sector, including an appropriate level of understanding of the solutions we provide.

The Role

Your day-today
+ Develop Go-to-Market strategies, roadmap and design of programs to accelerate growth in the public sector segment
+ Develop compelling industry-specific messaging, content, case studies etc.
+ Develop and lead customer advisory board, customer roundtables, roadshows
+ Help drive thought leadership through effective participation in industry forums, webinars, blogs etc.
+ Establish access and maintain active relationships with key public sector decision makers via the company’s investment in the prevalent industry associations, trade events and online engagements.
+ Create and drive industry marketing motion and objectives to improve reach, efficiency and assure execution
+ Collaborate with operative peers across functions (including the field sales, channel, marketing, sales operations, sales engineering, services, customer support, and product management) to drive FED and SLED industry growth.
+ Maintains ongoing communication with management to report status and facilitate sound business decisions
What you bring to the team
+ Previous experience leading and driving GTM initiatives in a cybersecurity company
+ Excellent knowledge of the public sector, cybersecurity requirements and various business models
+ Product marketing background and experience in creating compelling messages and technical concepts to drive in-bound demand generation including blog posts, social media content, banner ads, email marketing campaigns
+ Experience in public speaking at industry events and workshops
+ Ability to creatively contribute to and coach field sales on how to execute go-to-market plans for public sector industry customers and prospects.
+ Demonstrable experience in working across functional teams to drive the Federal strategy
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Role
As a Partner Business Operations Manager you will partner with the Americas and Public Sector partner leaders in designing the partner strategy aligned to Splunk overall business objectives. You will act as a liaison with the broader Sales Operations organization in driving all annual planning processes, be responsible to create an operating model and ad hoc analytics, as well as establish and maintain the rhythm of the business through monthly and quarterly business reviews. Responsibilities:
As the Business Operations lead, you will report directly to the Director, Partner Business Strategy and Business Operations. And work closely with the Director, Sales Strategy & Operations for Americas and Public Sector, and the Global Partner leader.
Drive the operational cadence, including data preparation and analytics for monthly or quarterly business review, annual fiscal planning and more.
Design, develop, maintain and improve critical business dashboard and drive management visibility to support Splunk’s Partner business efforts and outcomes. Provide leadership insights and recommendations based on the data.
Establish an operating model in partnership with Partner Theater leaders to drive the rhythm of the business for the Americas, inclusive of Public Sector, and assigned Global initiatives. (Forecasting, Monthly Performance check-ins, gap to plan, quarterly business reviews, etc.)
Be the subject matter expert (SME) for Americas and Public Sector leadership for all Partner related operational norms, business data, and operational systems.
Provide operational support to the Americas and Public Sector Partner Sales leaders and their teams through business insights and supports the evolving needs of the business.
Use dashboards and ad hoc reporting to drive decision making, track business growth, and allow for advanced business pipeline visibility.
Design and perform analyses incorporating quantitative methods, detecting outliers, and identifying data quality issues across multiple tools and environments.
Collaborate with GTM Operations teams to manage the impact of system changes and/or updates to the SFDC reporting environment.
Train and support Partner team to leverage reporting, tools and analysis provided
Lead Global initiatives in partnership with the Global Partner leader and ensure proper and clear communication across Theaters and functions.
Maximize efficiency and effectiveness of partner programs, MDF, and other investments by providing correlation analysis and actionable insights.
Ensure accuracy and drive transparency and clarity of information.
Drive annual business planning in collaboration with other sales operations and cross functional teams (Territory planning, comp design, liaison with business units, customer success and other functions).
Work effectively in matrix org structure both at Theater and Global levels.
Requirements:
+ Past experience in working as a Business Analyst preferable in finance or partner roles.
+ Demonstrates strong business acumen & solid understanding of working with partners and indirect organizations
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills. Highly analytical with attention to details.
+ Experience working cross functionally to achieve business goals
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or relevant

You will be part of the team that assists with facilitating meetings and documenting client requirements for public sector clients. Additionally, you will assist with designing, configuring and implementing the ERP solution to meet the requirements while providing guidance based on industry best practices. You will also assist in analyzing key data sets and business intelligence metrics resulting in dashboard creation. Managed Detection Response

The Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Analyst will be responsible for supporting, planning and executing cybersecurity projects including some of the following responsibilities: monitor the Crowe MDR platform, respond to generated alerts, triage their level of risk and investigate their nature, help in tuning alerts, writing rules and optimizing the platform, perform research on emerging security threats and trends while also evaluating Crowe MDR’s coverage, respond to client enquiries pertaining to events in their network, use the Crowe MDR platform and red team knowledge to hunt for signs of suspicious/malicious activity, prepare reports or other necessary documentation to detail results of continuous monitoring, submit recommendations to client for corrective action or to support a recommend approach to solving the client’s needs, and correspond with a variety of clients and communicate security issues, recommendations, and deliverables effectively.
