An understanding of cancer and corresponding treatments is desirable, but training will be available. Similarly, an understanding of data collection, data analysis, data quality processes and information governance within the frameworks of existing legislation and information governance protocols would be beneficial, but we will provide training if required.

This role is office based but will require occasional travel (when permitted).

PHEemployees will be in scope for transition to new organisations in Spring 2021. They will work with the NWL Mental Health Team in the management and monitoring of mental health contracts with West London Mental Health NHS Trust and other NHS and independent service providers and will work with local authority colleagues on the management of current contracts and the development of the market for supported housing, home care, day opportunities, residential and nursing care.

They will lead on the management of integrated partnership groups and networks to ensure effective involvement of service users and carers in the planning, commissioning and delivery of mental health services in Ealing.

They will collaborate with colleagues across the three boroughs linked to WL NHS Trust, and across the eight North West London boroughs to develop consistent, effective and cost-efficient services for local residents in line with NHS planning requirements and guidance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Working with public health colleagues and other stakeholders to monitor changing needs within the JSNA for this care group and evaluating current service delivery and commissioning future services to ensure they remain responsive to changing policies and needs
  • Monitoring and reporting on the delivery of those elements of the Adults Business Plan and the CCG Operating Plan which relate to mental health and wellbeing

The PHE/NHS England cancer data partnership team have an exciting opportunity for a Data Manager at PHE, focusing on systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) data, and Cancer Drugs Fund treatments, across the NHS in England. This role is office based but will require occasional travel (when permitted).
