Audit Related Responsibilities: 

Develop audit summary reports for the following production quality metrics:

-Accurate load tags 

-Audit/calibrate production floor testing equipment

- Coordinate all customer audit activities and the respective paperwork and communication to management

General Summary:
The Quality Assurance Clerk processes store and customer returned apparel, accessories, shoes, gifts, and jewelry product by receiving, laundering, inspecting, ticketing and folding/repackaging product to return 1st quality product to available inventory. In addition, this individual carries out various special projects as needed in support of the business needs and objectives to facilitate timely flow of product to available inventory for all David’s Bridal sales channels.
Principal Functions and Responsibilities:
· Receives cartons from UPS or FedEx, sort cartons by group, stack cartons on pallets and maintain carton counts. Removes trash from area and places in the trash compactor
· Receives merchandise returned from the stores by opening cartons, removing product from the cartons, processing the product received in the POS system and then thoroughly inspect product for stains and damage.
· Launders dresses by spot cleaning and/or machine-washing dresses, hanging washed dresses on trolleys, pushing wet dresses on trolleys into the drying room and maintaining a clean and organized work space
· Follows David’s Bridal quality inspection criteria to identify and sort 1st quality dresses for return to stock or imperfect dresses for the “As Is” program or MOS.
· Prepares dresses for return to active inventory by inspecting, identifying necessary repairs, ticketing, folding and repackaging dresses
· Maintains inventory by creating transfers in the POS systems and by using a RF scanner
· Contributes to the team effort as a cross-functional team member by completing various tasks in support of the business needs and objectives within the Return Processing and DC Special Projects Department, Warehouse Departments and Quality Control Department as needed. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: inspection of new product, product or carton sorting, re-ticketing, repackaging, QC Order inspection, etc

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business or Engineering or related field and seven years of relevant work experience required.   4. Assist with investigations related to client welfare and program compliance, when needed. Support the response to critical incidents within the programs in cooperation with the Compliance Department within 24 hours as needed.
  5. Review with program management staff after completion of each audit (onsite and chart audit). Upload report to Share Point within 72-hours from the completion of the audit and review process.
  6. Implement and maintain the necessary systems, tools, and trainings required for quality improvement within the region as specified by the QA department and regional management, including those pertaining to onsite audits and subsequent reviews with programs.
  7. Coordinate with other regional departments and staff to prepare for all audits related to program licensure and accreditation by ACA and other accrediting bodies.
  8. Collaborate with regional financial, HR, and EHR managers to oversee the compliance and program credentialing process for all programs within the region.
  9. Develop strategies and plans to address findings identified with plans of correction in conjunction with program leadership and the compliance department.
  10. Aid in the development of policies and procedures that conform to licensing, accreditation, and funding source standards, and customize those policies to each level of care.
  11. Other duties as assigned by the Deputy Director of Quality Assurance, or designee

Education/ Training:  

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, public health, business management or nursing; plus specialized training or certification in program compliance, Six Sigma or CARF, or Master’s Degree in related specialty area

 

Experience:                

Minimum of 3 years of experience.

-Monitor and coordinate disposition of product in quarantine area on a weekly basis 

-Maintain Quality System documentation  

-Maintain Controlled Procedures for operation 

-Ensure that required review and approval is completed prior to issue 

-Coordinate controlled distribution of procedures/forms 

-Coordinate update and replacement of obsolete procedures 

 

Audit Related Responsibilities: 

Develop audit summary reports for the following production quality metrics:  

-Ink pH and Viscosity 

-CTI quality tabs completed 

-Caliper samples  

-Measure and of boxes 

-Soak testing 

-Corrugator caliper checks 

-Accurate load tags 

-Audit/calibrate production floor testing equipment

- Coordinate all customer audit activities and the respective paperwork and communication to management 

- Complete customer survey requests as needed   

- Coordinate annual AIB audit activities 

 

Training: 

- Acme University Quality Module for new and existing employees   

- Conduct Quality Meetings  

-Monthly for all production employees 

-Quarterly for Customer Service and Shipping employees 

-AIB education and enforcement   

-Newsletter articles   

-Postings in Quality display cases in cafeterias 

 

Testing: 

- Ensure all product characteristics are tested formally in the lab and results are published on a monthly basis.  

-ECT (Edge Crush) 

-FCT (Flat Crush) 

-Pin adhesion 

-Basis weight analysis  

-Caliper 

-Provide results to Board Combo Team, Fiber Reduction Team, and others, as needed 

 

Supplier Management: 

- Evaluate and qualify new suppliers (with Purchasing Manager)  

- Audit new and existing suppliers as needed   

- Test materials and products as practical and as needed   

- Monitor production at outsource suppliers as needed 

 

Metrics: 

-Monthly Quality Scorecard 

-Complaint/CAR Logs   

-Test Results and Summary Data

Education and/or Experience: 
-Minimum of 5 years QA Management experience required   

-Manufacturing experience required   

-Excellent oral and written communication skills  

-Computer literate (proficient in MS Office)
