Some of the main duties and responsibilities will be to:

  • Support the development and quality of screening services, providing operational support to deliver a consistent and timely service for the local team(s)
  • Support organisation and coordination of QA visits for local Breast screening services
  • Provide a first point of contact for stakeholders seeking information from the team
  • Support business management of for West Midlands team in accordance with the agreed procedures
  • Provide administrative support working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure delivery of a streamlined QA process
  • Use a range of IT systems to support corporate and business processes, maintaining records and processing information

The post holder will be able to use their communication skills to maintain constructive relationships and communicate with team members to achieve objectives through others. They will be capable of problem solving and responding to sudden and unexpected demands, knowing when and how to seek advice from senior QA staff members. The post holder will be able to communicate complex information and administrative matters with the capability of using own initiative to make required decisions.

The post holder will be a highly organised, skilled communicator who will be able to maintain constructive relationships with external stakeholders. They will be a flexible and supportive team member with good time management skills in order to prioritise work load effectively. They will have a good understanding of working with sensitive and confidential information in order to contribute effective information management.
