Being able to multitask whilst under pressure and maintaining a professional manner at all times is essential. Experience of working in a GP Practice environment would be an advantage although not essential for the right candidate as full training will be provided.
We are a friendly forward thinking PMS practice with approximately 6,800 patients. With an Outstanding CQC rating and over 95% patient satisfaction score in the National Patient Survey for the past 2 years, we are well organised and are proud of our fantastic team.
Receptionist Job summary:
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive, professional and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.

We offer a competitivebasic salary between £17,100 and £21,000 per annum depending on experience with uncapped commission in a competitive working environment with ongoing training and development opportunities.

You will be resilient with the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure with good organisational and time management skills. You will also be computer literate with excellent keyboard skills.
Your first weeks induction will be held in the Colchester area and we also reserve the right to request you attend the same area on a monthly basis for 121s and further development.
