Trustmark's Health Benefits, a nationwide Third Party Administrator is currently seekinga Regional Sales Directorlocated in the New York or Baltimore area. This individual will be responsible for developing and marketing business in the area and will have the opportunity to capitalize on relationships that exist outside the area as well. This position will develop successful strategies and coordinate tactical efforts for new products and long-term business goals and objectives.

This candidate will report into the Lancaster, PA office, but can work out of a home office in the Baltimore area.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual new business sales objectives by successfully leveraging existing relationships, developing relationships with benefit consultants and insurance brokers to increase visibility in the assigned territory and create awareness of Health Benefits various services and ultimately positively impact profitability.
  • Develop strategies to acquire new business through brokers by continuous exchange of information, sales and broker service, and the generation of broker activity.
  • Communicate to brokers through personal visits and newsletters, updates on new products, underwriting and other topics of importance.
  • Provide quality consultative services to clients to thoroughly understand their needs and ensure our services provide maximum return to Health Benefits.
  • Identify new service offerings and work closely with key people within the organization in an effort to expand services and profitability.
  • Proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with Implementation Manager, Client Management and Underwriting.
  • Provide monthly reports of pipeline, forecasts and market analysis.
  • Attend sales meetings as required.
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

Required Skills, Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of previous experience selling into the broker community or related sales experience.
  • Solid understanding of Third Party Benefits Administration.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination education and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Seasoned sales professional who understands the importance of a consultative approach to development and maintenance of client relationships.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • High level of motivation and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Team oriented.

The Sales Manager assists the Store Manager in operating a David's Bridal retail store by focusing primarily on floor management to ensure an exceptional customer service experience for each bride by consistently reviewing and training associates on Customer Relationship Management to drive the business.

Principal Functions and Responsibilities:

Experience Required: 2 years prior retail in supervisory role

  • Leads sales floor management to ensure an A+ shopping experience for our customers
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the David’s Bridal store when the store manager is not in the store, and becomes responsible for all store manager responsibilities for that shift
  • Addresses customer service issues in the store and work to resolve all issues following the Grey Zone Guidelines without escalating to store manager; if possible, addressing issues in the moment
  • Drives achievement of customer service/satisfaction goals and standards
  • Ensures CRM is consistently executed to build appointments and drive the business utilizing My Customers
  • Monitors stylist payroll and provide input to store manager on suggested schedule changes necessary to manage the store’s payroll budget
  • Coaches, teaches and role models sales behaviors to stylists to increase store conversion metrics and achieve sales per hour goals
  • Supervises Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for all applicable associates
  • Oversees the visual merchandising standards for the store
  • Leads the communication of the promotions and contests in the store in partnership with the store manager

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the David’s Bridal Outreach Program
  • Trains associates on the David’s Bridal Partnership Program
  • Supports store manager in building and retaining the winning team
  • Provides input to store manager on performance reviews and disciplinary sessions
  • Does any other function in which the store manager determines essential to the performance of this job

  • Min of 3 years of sales / business development experience within the DoD preferably working on programs that tie back to Command/Control, radars, and/or BMD subsystems (e.g. radar, missile launchers, etc.).
  • Successful track record leading and capturing new business commensurate to Divisions backlog
  • Ability to obtain security clearance to work on classified DoD programs

Position Overview:

The District Sales Manager drives business growth through the effective leadership of sales professionals and will assume responsibility for growing the Specialty Brands Women’s Health business. A successful candidate will develop strategies for the effective engagement of prescribers and mentor sales professionals in the achievement of sales objectives.

  • Innovation in Sales: Acts as a change agent; leads team in identifying creative opportunities for sales growth and collaboration.
  • People Leadership: Leads in the development of a culture, and supporting systems, to drive open communication, participation, and idea-sharing tin order to build an engaged team; advances and models Mayne Pharma values and leadership commitments; assures the highest levels of compliance and integrity are evident in all interactions.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leads a sales team to achieve district sales objectives by coaching, giving direct feedback, and recommending action items to help team members improve performance
  • Achieves district sales objectives by contributing district sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change
  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives
  • Ensures that the product knowledge, sales skills (challenger and Zoom) and Mayne services acumen of the team are regarded as best in class in Women’s Health
  • Maintains and expands customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key prescribers; identifying new customer opportunities
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years of sales management experience in the pharmaceutical industry required
  • Women’s health experiencestrongly preferred
  • New product launch experience preferred
  • BS degree in business or other relevant major

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent Business travel required (up to 80%)
  • Frequent talking, hearing, visual acuity (detail/accuracy), and repetitive motion

Trustmark's Health Benefits, a nationwide Third Party Administrator is currently seekinga Regional Sales Directorlocated in the New York or Baltimore area. This individual will be responsible for developing and marketing business in the area and will have the opportunity to capitalize on relationships that exist outside the area as well. Primary Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual new business sales objectives by successfully leveraging existing relationships, developing relationships with benefit consultants and insurance brokers to increase visibility in the assigned territory and create awareness of Health Benefits various services and ultimately positively impact profitability.
  • Develop strategies to acquire new business through brokers by continuous exchange of information, sales and broker service, and the generation of broker activity.
  • Communicate to brokers through personal visits and newsletters, updates on new products, underwriting and other topics of importance.
  • Provide quality consultative services to clients to thoroughly understand their needs and ensure our services provide maximum return to Health Benefits.
  • Identify new service offerings and work closely with key people within the organization in an effort to expand services and profitability.
  • Proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with Implementation Manager, Client Management and Underwriting.
  • Provide monthly reports of pipeline, forecasts and market analysis.
  • Attend sales meetings as required.
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

Required Skills, Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of previous experience selling into the broker community or related sales experience.
  • Solid understanding of Third Party Benefits Administration.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination education and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Seasoned sales professional who understands the importance of a consultative approach to development and maintenance of client relationships.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • High level of motivation and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Team oriented.
