Job Description:

Reporting to the Dean and Chief Academic Officer this role will function as member of a collaborative research team that will provide education in research and scholarly activity, will oversee KHSC-KansasCOM research activities, and manage the Research Center.

Responsibilites include, but are not limited to:

Teaching 50%

  • Collaboratively with KHSC-KansasCOM faculty, develop and facilitate delivery of research and Scholarly Activity didactic presentations, laboratory sessions, and student assessment for first and second year students
  • Oversee development and delivery research education for third and fourth year students in clinical education
  • Provide research mentoring to KHSC-KansasCOM students

Research and Scholarly Activity 20%

  • Oversee research and scholarly activity by students and faculty at KHSC-KansasCOM
  • Actively participate in KHSC-KansasCOM research
  • Mentor KHSC-KansasCOM faculty in research and scholarly activity

Administration 20%

  • Oversee the Research Center
  • Develop the Research Center Budget
  • Oversee KHSC IRB

Service 10%

  • Participate in student interviewing, mentorship, and career counseling
  • Foster a positive culture amongst the students, faculty, and KHSC-KansasCOM staff.
  • Serve on selected committees at the discretion of the Dean.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATION(S):

A research leader with a track record of proven effective academic and administrative experience in research and scholarly activity education.

  • Five years or greater experience in research
  • Master’s degree or higher preferred
  • Good standing with all regulatory and governmental boards and agencies
  • Experience in teaching foundational concepts in research.
  • Experience serving as a research mentor
  • Experience in publication/national presentations.

Job Duties:

  • Serves as technical consultant for Program Protection activities, including Trusted Systems and Networks (TSN), Cyber Resiliency, Anti-Tamper, and Information Protection. Gathers data and prepares documentation in support of U.S. Government Assessment and Authorization (A&A) efforts to obtain Cyber Security Authorization to Operate (ATO) certification.
  • Performs research, calculations, and estimates for projects to conform with established specifications.
  • Develops creative, scientific alternatives during course of job assignments to reach desired outcome.
  • Determines status of work in progress.
  • Maintains a high degree of proficiency in computer applications to accomplish tasks.
  • Consults and coordinates with other engineering and manufacturing personnel to coordinate design function and resolve technical problems.
  • Consults with suppliers to discuss and remedy issues in a more timely and efficient manner.
  • Consults with customer Cyber Security representatives to develop and verify requirements, mitigate risks, and devise action plans.
  • Requests and coordinates work performed by Engineering support groups, Experimental, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management for the project.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) per DoDI 8510.01 or AFI 17-101
  • Ability to obtain U.S. security clearance
  • Professional and diplomatic demeanor
  • Strong sense of accountability and integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaboratively with OPP Faculty, develop and facilitate delivery of Osteopathic Principle and Practices didactic presentations, laboratory sessions, and student assessment for first and second year students
  • Oversee development and delivery of an Osteopathic Principle and Practices curriculum for third and fourth year students in clinical education
  • Oversee the development and delivery of COMLEX-USA Level 2 PE preparation longitudinally throughout curriculum
  • Assist the Director of Graduate Medical Education in developing resources for residency programs applying for/participating in Osteopathic Recognition.
  • Collaboratively oversee, foster and ensure development, delivery, assessment and ongoing evaluation of effectiveness of OPP pedagogy
  • Support the KansasCOM Committee on Curriculum and Educational Policy (CCEP) as a member
  • Collaborate with Assistant Dean of Outcomes & Assessment (ADOA) on all evaluation of all OPP courses, laboratory, service and scholarly activities, ensuring formal after action reporting, curriculum inventory and mapping at least annually (or as additionally requested)

The Cobblestone Commercial Development Programme is your passport to an exciting and challenging career in the world's commodities markets. Tasks/responsibilities:

Our hiring processes

Before full time admission onto our Commercial Development Programme (CDP), all finalist candidates are invited to attend a Cobblestone Training Programme (CTP). CTPs will be carried out at our Dubai office

We shall cater for everything - Flights, accommodation, paper-work and expenses.

During the Training Program, you work will on real-life tasks and situations with other members of the commercial and technical team. The goal is to enable you to learn as much as possible within the period while giving you the opportunity to shine in an area tailored to your strengths. You are also evaluated for cultural fit, aptitude, and your ability to work with others.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Dean and Chief Academic Officer this role will function as member of a collaborative research team that will provide education in research and scholarly activity, will oversee KHSC-KansasCOM research activities, and manage the Research Center.

Responsibilites include, but are not limited to:

Teaching 50%

  • Collaboratively with KHSC-KansasCOM faculty, develop and facilitate delivery of research and Scholarly Activity didactic presentations, laboratory sessions, and student assessment for first and second year students
  • Oversee development and delivery research education for third and fourth year students in clinical education
  • Provide research mentoring to KHSC-KansasCOM students

Research and Scholarly Activity 20%

  • Oversee research and scholarly activity by students and faculty at KHSC-KansasCOM
  • Actively participate in KHSC-KansasCOM research
  • Mentor KHSC-KansasCOM faculty in research and scholarly activity

Administration 20%

  • Oversee the Research Center
  • Develop the Research Center Budget
  • Oversee KHSC IRB

Service 10%

  • Participate in student interviewing, mentorship, and career counseling
  • Foster a positive culture amongst the students, faculty, and KHSC-KansasCOM staff.
  • Serve on selected committees at the discretion of the Dean.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATION(S):

A research leader with a track record of proven effective academic and administrative experience in research and scholarly activity education.

  • Five years or greater experience in research
  • Master’s degree or higher preferred
  • Good standing with all regulatory and governmental boards and agencies
  • Experience in teaching foundational concepts in research.
  • Experience serving as a research mentor
  • Experience in publication/national presentations.

  • Leadership abilities in influencing and shaping performance
