Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will the opportunity to take ownership and responsibility for your targets - you will have the bandwidth to really make your mark on your customers, the business and your team.
The Role
As a Sales Executive, you will follow sales processes to provide a smooth and efficient service to customers, whilst being able to identify and maximise every sales opportunity that is presented along the way.
You will often be the first point of contact for new business enquiries, so a friendly, welcoming, and professional approach is important to ensure that we give the right first impression, and we respond to every enquiry in a timely manner.
In addition to handling new business enquiries, you will proactively manage your time across various workstreams within the sales function. Tasks will include preparing and chasing quotes, renewing contracts, and providing general administrative support to the wider sales team, so you will need to be very organised and have excellent time management skills.
Working in the hub of the company, you will:
- Prepare, send, and follow up quotes working towards monthly KPI’s
- Nurture good relationships with customers and colleagues
- Confidently handle inbound and outbound calls to new and existing customers
- Proactively respond to new business enquiries
- Identify and maximise sales opportunities
- Learn the key fundamentals of legionella control
- Contribute towards the output of the sales team shared mailbox
- Manage work and time effectively to ensure that deadlines are met
About You
To join us as a Sales Executive, you’ll need:
- At least two years’ sales experience in a B2B role
- Proven track record of generating new business
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- High level IT skills in Microsoft office 365
- Ability to demonstrate technical understanding
A science, business or marketing degree would be advantageous to your application but is not essential.
